Comixology and foreign countries

Hi, Does anyone know if it is possible to purchase comics from comixology using the website or app or input digital copy codes from a foreign country? If not then is it possible for someone here in the US to purchase or input the code here then I download it from the app or just log into the website and read the comics?

As far as I know, there's no restriction on foreign consmers buying digital comics

A couple of weeks back we got our first royalty check from Marvel for digital downloads using digital codes from books we'd purchased from Diamond.

On Comixology (at least on iOS) there are some restrictions based on rights issues. There's a TMNT store on there right now that says "US Only" on it. There may be a way around this, though.

So does that mean when purchasing from the website or the android app there are no restrictions?

I have no idea. But if there are restrictions it would definitely be easier to find ways around them on those more open platforms than on iOs.

I'm buying my comics off of comixology right here in Hong Kong. Haven't had a problem at all.

I use the website. I haven't used any digital codes.

The digital codes provided by Marvel and DC work in Ireland and the UK, and I think they'd work worldwide. And I've purchased comics both via the iOS app and the comixology webstore with no problems. Like Shawn says above, the main issue is around licensed titles like TMNT or Ghostbusters or the like. For example, I can see a number of TMNT series on the comixology webstore, but the Irish version of the app is only showing one.

Since returning to comics recently I have pretty much been buying everything on Comixology - specifically because i am now living in Switzerland and I find it much less stressful to buy digitally. I've not seen any issues with titles being not available.
