Hi guy's, I just watched Batman: Under the Red Hood, and all I can say is... I'm in love. I don't really collect comic books, with the exception of Spawn (Which I started collecting since I was 9 years old - with a total of 186 Spawn Comics as of now), but I want to expand myself into the world of comics. Now, the reason why I brought up Batman: Under the Red Hood, is because I fell in love with the Character Robin became known as the Red Hood. I really like the Rogue Styled character and how kick @$$ he is. Other than the Red Hood, I started collecting about 2 weeks ago the new Venom, which the Costume and the Gun Slinging brought my attention.

I might not be explaining that well, but let me sum up the stuff I'm interested, perhaps any of you can recommend something with the same kind of taste:

Spawn
Red Hood (Also Nightwing)
Venom (New 2012)
Deadpool

(In other words, I like the whole Full mask'ed style)

Also... I'm trying to get into the Green Latern, but I don't want to spend BIG money on some OLD-SKOOL comics, is there a "New" Green Lantern Comic I can start reading from the beginning? (Hal's story I'm fond by)

Thank you guys in Advanced!

I reccomend Winter Soldier. It is an amazing book. You won't regret it.

Maybe the classic run of Thunderbolts by Kurt Busiek?

The issues by Fabian Nicieza until the Fight Club iteration were also pretty good.

Definitely the Thunderbolts run by Warren Ellis and Mike Deodato.
Dark Avengers by Bendis/Deodato is also damn good.
Bendis/Maleev on Daredevil is amazing, as is Brubaker/Lark's run.

You've picked a good time to get into DC comics; they rebooted their whole universe less than a year ago, so you've only got about eight issues of Green Lantern to collect to have the whole set!

Dumb question: are you aware that there's currently a Red Hood and the Outlaws title starring Jason Todd?

A few recommendations, Savage Dragon especially as a Spawn fan, Dragon is the #1 most consistently excellent and creative Image book at 180 issues. There are various places you could jump on if you don't wanna rock a ginormous run. Also maybe check out the most recent run of Witchblade, and also Hack/Slash. These titles don't star masked heroes, but hey Savage Dragon looks easily as cool regardless. And I'll just recommend Invincible because it rules.

I also recommend giving the current Catwoman series a try, it's fun and definitely rogue-ish, while dark on the streets like say a Spawn fan might dig. Speaking of which, longtime Spawn artist Greg Capullo is doing excellent work on Batman right now.

One more recommendation, a new graphic novel (first in a trilogy) called The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse Book I - Helldiver. You'll like this, trust me.
