I just re-read my old Ray issues. From what I could tell, the relationship did somewhat play out in his title. First, they had to take a time travel trip, and then he and Canary had a short talk.

Black Canary and Savant is not a cute couple. Sometimes when two people are hostile it can be chalked up to sexual frustration. However I think Dinah hate of Savant is quite legitimate and who can blame her on that score. As for Inu Yasha and Kagome sure but only after they both reach the age where they can legally consent to having sex with each other. Through a quirk in hibernation Inu is centuries old but Kagome is still fifteen.

I know this isn’t a popular opinion but Nightwing and Oracle always strikes me as a taboo love affair involving brother and sister and I would much rather see Dick with Kory but that’s just me.

Interesting fact about the Japanese is that they have the lowest crime rate of any industrialized county and yet view the most pornography. Pornography I might add is far more abusive to its participants then their American counterparts in the same industry. Outsiders view Japan as so proper and it is on the surface. But even as they smile, bow, etc. that doesn't stop their actions belying what they really think. Their emotions are extremely repressed in order to meet the expectations set within the culture. Just because it's all polite an honorable on the surface doesn't mean that they all necessarily think that way, thus you see deviant thoughts manifesting itself in things like the perversion in their pornography.
