Wouldn't surprise me if Feige gets the nod, what he's done with Marvel is nothing short of remarkable. I don't want Marvel Studios to lose him though.

Yes, it was massively over-budgeted and needed to be a HUGE success just to break even. It was a management debacle. But as a movie, it performed decently enough.

Yes, it was massively over-budgeted and needed to be a HUGE success just to break even. It was a management debacle. But as a movie, it performed decently enough.

A film with a 300 million dollar budget, that doesn't even make 300 million, is nothing but a giant bomb. Disney lost about 200 million on that film, when you figure in marketing costs, distribution costs, the cut the cinema chains take. Whereas all of Marvels films, even Incredible Hulk, made a profit.

Disney expected John Carter to make like, 800 million. It should have been Avengers size.
