Row upon row of books I want to read. I think Image now owns 75%-ish of my market share. I either have to drop books from the other companies, or put more money into my comic budget.

Well done, Image!

Kevin.

Are the titles solicited for July 5th a mistake? I'm curious as to whether these titles are shipping a day late due to the 4th of July in the U.S. or if that date is simply a typo.

If anyone has any insight, it would be greatly appreciated.

LOL at the chromium Walking Dead cover. Kirkman really is a child of the '90s, and I love him for it.

Also; Yes to C:SAP.

Not only that but look how many variant covers there is for the issue.

All we're missing is hologram covers.

At least they have a reg cover for everyone to buy. That being said, I'll getting all the variants that I can.
Reminds me of Jim Lee's X-Men #1. I loved it.

No its not a mistake. 4th of July is on a Wed this year. And even though Tues is the regular drop off day, UPS is taking a day off SOMEWHERE in there. Comics may not actually show up that week till Thursday.

I wonder when the first trade for Prophet is coming. It would be nice to see it get an oversized European HC treatment.

Hello ladies and gentlemen,

I'm Ales Kot, the writer behind WILD CHILDREN, a 64-page graphic novella that's coming out via Image on July 11.

Riley Rossmo (Dark Wolverine, Cowboy Ninja Viking) significantly changed his art style for this comic. We have amazing colors by Gregory Wright (Batman: The Long Halloween, Elephantmen) and inventive lettering by Clayton Cowles (Kick-Ass, Superior, The Defenders). The announcement in USA Today earlier this week got us some attention, but I want to fight for every one of you, so here it is, reposted: http://www.usatoday.com/life/comics/story/2012-04-17/Wild-Children-graphic-novel/54346844/1

I'm interested in new, exciting comics. I like reading them and I like making them. I am at the start of a long journey that will hopefully evolve into a great career, and I want every single one of you to join me.

I believe in my work. I hope you will, too.

Thank you for your time.

What was reason for the and how receptive was Riley to changing his style? I love this clean, crisp and tight artwork as much as I love his original style.

I can't wait to check this, Kot because I LOVE these types of stories, situations, and characters (Love and Rockets got me hooked).

Also, have you read Milligan's Girl, in the same vein as Morrison's kill yr boyfriend.

It simply felt like the right choice to make. I like Riley's original style, but it didn't feel right for the comic. That said, we were on the same page from the beginning - I immediately brought it up and Riley was game. He wanted to experiment.

Thank you for your support, I hope you'll love it! Do let me know what you think of the comic, please - you can find my e-mail address here: http://www.aleskot.com/

Regarding Milligan's & Fegredo's 'Girl': not yet, but I'm aware of its existence and I definitely want to read it.

(Here's an extra panel from 'Wild Children', CBR Forums exclusive. You won't find this one in the USA Today preview.)

Dont worry, you'll get an issue in July- we're shipping 12 this year; this is just to catch us up with the solicits after missing a couple months last year.
