Read venom, all we know is the toxin symbiote is in the hands of a villain, nothing has been said of it's former host, presumably dead since symbiotes and their host have been killed left and right, though Brock is doing the killing

Based on solicits we know toxin will be a villain initially on his return

A villain? Thats lame since toxin the symbiote generally did good things.

It's not going to be the original host, venom was blackmailed into retrieving just the symbiote by crime master. Nothing is said about what happened to toxin's original host

Eddie supposely killed Hybrid and Scream in Venom #15, but Hybrid was in Carnage USA so I'm not sure how the timeline goes when it comes that. I'm assuming Carnage USA takes place after Venom #15 since the Hybrid symbiote was separated into their original symbiotes in that story.

And considering that Eddie did more damage to the Hybrid symbiote than he did to the Scream symbiote I'm assuming that the Scream symbiote also survived.

Those were the symbionts who merged to be Hybrid, Carnage USA, which takes place after Venom joins the Secret Avengers, and that Eddie will kill Scott, if you read this volume, when Scream going to Eddie's lair, there pictures of the Symbiotic with the photo of Hybrid crossed, just before the kill Scream, but the picture of Toxin is not crossed, and considering that after the death of Scott, the symbionts were left catatonic and were separated, and that in Venom # 12 we saw the symbiote from Toxin, one might speculate that what has happened to Patt, Eddie did not, we must know if he really is dead, Scream of the symbiont is also something mysterious

Spidey had no issue with venom being around in carnage USA so im guessing spidey finds out soon in venom.

Actually I think the Scream symbiote would be a better fit for Jessica Drew.

With the Scream symbiote's first host being female rather than male as in Toxin's case I think it would fit Jessica Drew better since she's female.

Perhaps symbiotes prefer the sex of their first host when it comes to choosing future hosts.

I never said that I would write such a tale. I was just kidding about the symbiotes bonding to Spider-Woman and Psylocke. I would rather collaborate my ideas with a talented writer and artist who can bring those things to life in print. I can come up with ideas. But, I would choose a few to actually work on with a writer.

I still can't see Toxin doing anything evil being the symbiote was pretty good natured itself, as well as being bonded with a good cop....so it should of absorbed those characteristics as well.

I'm interested to see how that will work out considering the fact that Eddie isn't all that symbiote friendly at the present time. Considering the fact that he's trying to kill them all.

I didn't mean to offend you,and I'm not saying they didn't matter. I'm just saying that the Venom symbiote has had very few female hosts and I think when it comes to symbiotes selecting hosts a lot depends on the sex of their first host that determines their preference of sex for future hosts.

For example if we ever see the Scream symbiote again it will likely select another female host due to having a female for its first host.

darthfury does come up with some fairly wild ideas at times, but he (or she) is always super polite about it, even when people criticize those ideas very harshly.

I rather Toxin go back to mulligan or bond with some one more worthy. I use to like Venom(drawn in the mid 90's) while he was going through the maximum carnage/separation anxiety, but since then its character status has been down hill for me until now(now that flash has it). To me, Eddie should be Anti-Venom, and Toxin should go back to Pat who I found interesting and I do like the Toxin symbiote. Hopefully they won't kill this one off.

On another note, didn't Toxin take the look(his colors and design) from being the off spring of carnage but also respecting Spiderman? I can't remember but I thought I saw this stated some where.
