I think comparing this to the other green lantern titles I've read, this is probably the better ones in the bunch.
This issue, Bleez was leading a pack and looking for Sinestro corp (now depowered) for revenge after what has been done to her. It seems like Bleez would be going after Sinestro after slaughtering the rest of the sinestro corp.
Also Jack Moore seemed like he is the only Red Lantern other than Atrocitus that was able to have his own thoughts, barely.
Also I'm glad that this issue confirms that Krona is dead. Thank god, I don't need a rehash of an Atrocitus/Krona feud. But the craziest thing is the cliffhanger of Atrocitus getting pierced through the heart. I refuse to believe he is dead. He can't. I'm excited to see how Jack Moore interacts with Atrocitus.

Please cover your first post, people can see it. I already read the issue, but not everybody did.

I thought the Spoiler in the name of the thread makes it such that I don't have to put spoiler tags?

I remember it has mentioned Red Lanterns do not have hearts (please correct me if I am wrong),so I believe someone is really safe...

I dig Milligan but this is all over the road. It's like the issue's having a schizophrenic breakdown right on the page. We jump from Bleez eradicating the Sinestro Corps remnants (not following the other books, so I don't know how this matches up), to Rankorr fighting for control while also fighting Guy Gardner, to Atrocitus confronting his original attempt at Red Lanterns. Each section has a different tone and it's very jarring. Not to mention the reveal of the "big bad" is a character never seen before this issue, who's suddenly elevated to a major threat without much narrative backing. I like parts of this book, but other parts are a chore. It needs a tighter focus, or at least a consistent tone.

About issue #7 I liked the fight between Rankorr and Guy, and all the attention Jack and Bleez are getting. Ed Benes' art as always is awesome. I don't like what is being done to Atrocitus, though; he is being turned into a wuss. And is the origin of the Red Lanterns being retconned here?

All those things you mentioned....is why I loved this issue! This is Red Lanterns....rage-filled, seeking vengeance at every turn, not controlled and organized like other Corps....embrace the RED! That is what Milligan is doing, he's "BA-BUM"-ing his way through the issue, and I'm glad that there are multiple story arcs taking place, and off of Ysmault as well.

I really don't need a formatted writing style for this title, I think sporadic changes in style and tone work well and remind me of spewing napalm blood....

My only complaint about this issue is: did they run out of blue to color Bleez? or am I missing something?
