Has it ever been mentioned to him in any comics that Thor has a day named after him? It seems like something he would get a bit of a kick out of, but I've never actually seen it mentioned.

oh he forces them to celebrate his un-birthday every week. it's quite annoying.

I seem to remember this being brought up during Dan Jurgens' stint on writing Thor, when modern-day people on Earth started worshiping him because he was a visible, present and active god who helped them. No specific issue jumps to mind, but I know it was raised after issue #50 if it ever was.

While we're at it, Tuesday is named for Tyr, Wednesday for Odin, and I think Friday for either Freja or Frigga.

While we're at it, Tuesday is named for Tyr, Wednesday for Odin, and I think Friday for either Freja or Frigga.Or Friday for Frey, Freya's brother. Also major in the original pantheon, but as he was more of a fertility god, would have been much trickier to deal with under Comics Code.
