I have been watching the old 60's Batman episodes starring Adam West and Burt Ward with the family. Xander [age 7] and Gwen [age almost 4] get a hoot out of them, and I must admit for family fare they are fun to watch [though Xander often asks if there is an episode about how the Joker used to be the Red Hood, and when will Killer Croc show up?]
Anyway, if you know the show at all you will remember the rather memorable narration throughout, but this contributor is never listed in the credits. A little digging on the internet revealed it was actually this man, William Dozier [seen here I believe in Commisioner Gordon's office from the show]

So why am I mentioning this here?
Well it turns out that Mr Dozier was not only the narrator but the producer of the show, as he was with The Green Hornet [with Bruce Lee as Kato]. And in 1967, he tried to expand his stable of comic book characters with a screen test for - you guessed it - Wonder Woman.
Sadly the project never got beyond that stage - though I do wonder if any footage still exists?
Anyone?
