Members of Alpha Flight as X-men?

What members of either Alpha, Beta, Gamma or Omega Flight do you think would make great X-men?

No matter whether they are mutants or not.

Your right, according to Uncannyxmen.net he died when Avalanche buried him. Forgot about that.

Wait, here's a thought, so if he was buried, then I presume he produced his froce field before he was actually stuck, surely then he'd be able to dig himself out. I doubt he was crushed due to his FF.

And I have to admit, I kinda like Puck II, Major Mapleleaf and Centennial from the new lame team aswell.

I always liked Witchfire -- thought that character was underused.

Also, I like Wild Child, but with the mask on, when he was Weapon Omega. (Geez, it's been so long. I think he was Weapon Omega, anyway....)

Alpha Flight, in my eyes, is still an X-Men book, but they are Alphans, not X-Men. I suppose Northstar can stay in the X-Men, unless if a new (and successful) Alpha Flight book is launched. Seems highly unlikely, though, thanks to Bendis. :mad:

Alpha Flight's team are not an X-men book, but they got stuck that way. There are many members of AF that were mutants (or still are) and many would fit nicely amungst the X-men.

Of course many non-mutant characters might not fit as well.

Windshear is a cool character. He is powerful if people know how to use him.

shame he's now depowered...infact he had a business based on his powers in London...he made hard-air things and sold them. He's gotta be out of busniess now.

You can if you'd like, but there was never a body and never a funeral, so nope, he's not dead. and Flex's age wasn't put at a Number, but he was shown to be SIGNIFICANTLY younger than the rest of the team. I'd put him in his late teens. Same as I'd put X-23.

He left an Orphanage when he was adopted by the government but I doubt they would have adopted him when his powers didn;t work fully, I think by now he'd be 18 or 19. Ditto with Ghost Girl.

Persuasion has a od place in the MU at the moment. Part of the remaining AF. Last of the many mutants in the world and daughter of Purple Man.

She could have an odd relationship with Jess Jones and Luke Cage.

i think i really want Shaman to join the X-Men. They're lacking in a mystic character at the moment, and a native american character. And he's the only member of the John Byrne X-Men who never really got any "play". I realize he just died in the New Avengers thing... but nothing lasts forever. :)

Always been a Puck fan myself and would love to see him as a member of the X-men.

Yes I know he's not a mutant, but for some reason I could see Logan asking him to be a member because Eugene is a friend he can trust to look over some of the younger X-men and plus there seems to be a rule that every team must have a short, hairy, Canadian on the team. :D

I vote for Puck! Always liked the little guy. Heck, even when he lost the demon for all of an issue or two and grew i still liked him... oh, wait, no I didn't. I like him short. :D

Actually, I made a thread over in the Civil War section that had to do with Alpha Flight. It was basically about what heroes would you like to see on a new team since it was mentioned in the New Avengers letters page "Canada is going to be knee-deep in super heroes before you know it."

It was a joke about Emma getting diamond-hard skin to serve as Colossus replacement. (Besides Lil has repeatedly displayed superhuman strength in the pages of Alpha Flight.)
