Well, KISS probably doesn't stand out at all in comic books. I mean, outlandish costumes, all that makeup... I say they fit right in.

Of course tie-in comics with them go back ALMOST as far as KISS itself.

Simmons is supposed to be quite the comics fan. He was on Look, Up in the Sky saying when he was a kid all the other guys wanted to be football stars but he wanted to save Metropolis.
