Hey, it was inevitable that someone was going to create this thread sooner or later... But anyway.

How would anyone even begin to describe this macabre-like matrimony of two individuals of the opposite sex, trapped in the same body. And more importantly, how could both of them end up being sexually attracted to each other and be okay with their fleshy circumstance... Sure, one could argue that sex and sexual attraction is purely a state of mind, but with this "arrangement"... C'mon.

We all know the story of Adam and Eve, and how Adam created Eve from one of his ribs. Strangely enough, this scenario isn't too far from that in it's own twisted way. And the fact that they're both still "joined at the hip" means that Kenji still has room for improvements (on Martha) if you know what I mean. Whether Martha would approve is another discussion.

If you want to get technical, Martha's entire body -sans her brain, is still a part of his body. And there is a tether of skin that is still attached to him that links the two of them physically. Therefore, I would think that the act would be considered having sex with himself.

However, if by some miracle she were to become detached and become her own person, then I would argue whether or not it's still a part of Kenji or she's truly another self. Because at that point, Martha would have developed nerves, and an independent circulatory system, among other physical adaptations to basically make that body her own.

That's true for us mere muggles, but isn't telepathy/telekinesis necessarily going to involve the brain "sensing" without somatic sensory information? How would a brain lift an object if it cannot sense the object? I know Martha is just a telepath, but even that requires sensory awareness of other brains in the area.

I guess Kenji could be sending her massive amounts of pleasant sensory information making Martha kind of addict, but there's not really shown to be the case. Martha was a hottie stuck in a brain form and now she get's some action. Kenji is Johnny on the spot. If he had bad intentions, Martha would know.

True, true. But it's not like he can do much to her. She doesn't need food, just a place to keep her brain alive. Heck, she doesn't even need to be comfortable since the brain doesn't actually "feel" anything.

As bad as it is, I can understand why Martha may prefer this. I mean, at least she gets to have some kind of body that doesn't look like a robot. It's made out of flesh, allowing her to have some normal sensation.

Furthermore, who's to say who's in control in this relationship? We know Kenji isn't the best with any sort of people. Finding someone he can connect to on that level is probably a big deal for him. Martha doesn't need him for everything. He can't really force her to live or even to be happy. I figure she could end up really messing with him if she wanted.

I mean, even as a brain, Martha at least has lots of friends. Kenji just has fans and maybe Laurie.

I think limiting this discussion to the physical level is not an accurate depiction as their relationship started with their mental/ intellectual connection. Anyway, I'd like to think that their relationship is transcendental given that they have a deep physical and mental relationship.
