All Time (including Vertigo) (the entirety of my above list does not make this because they are all too new in their current incarnations)

1. Preacher
2. Y: The Last Man
3. JLA (Grant Morrison era)
4. Flash (Mark Waid and Geoff Johns Wally West era, who is this poser Barry Allen anyway)

In regards to Swamp Thing - does anyone know where The Rot came from? Was it introduced in Alan Moore's run, or did Snyder/Lemire come up with it?

I only just read Brightest Day this weekend (if you haven't read it, then suffice it to say its relevant to Swamp Thing) and while "The Rot" wasn't specifically mentioned it did refer to "The Green" a lot which makes me think these are not new concepts.

I've got to go with;

Batman
Batwoman
Wonder Woman
Animal Man
Swamp Thing

But I'd be remiss not to say that Flash, Aquaman, O.M.A.C., Frankenstein, JL:Dark, I, Vampire and a few others are strong contenders. The key thing is that O.M.A.C. was a top tier book and it got canned. Never going to let that one go.

So...

2 - Wonder Woman
3 - Birds Of Prey
4 - Demon Knights
5 - Animal Man

I know The Green isn't a new concept, but I'm convinced The Rot is. I've just read all I can (without actually reading) on Alan Moore's Saga of the Swamp Thing as well as the original creators' run, and The Rot literally shows up nowhere, in any of the info. Even Abigail Arcane is cited as a telepath/empath, with the Arcane family being evil occultists of a sort, as opposed to minions of The Rot, as they are in Snyder and Paquette's take.

hmm...my personal Top 5, alphabetical order:

Action Comics
Demon Knights
Frankenstein: Agent of SHADE
I, Vampire
Swamp Thing

That's a lot of Dark... All-Star Western is the only other title I'd consider top 5 status, but that's obviously more than 5.

Both the Green and the Red are pre-existing concepts, the Green in particular actually goes back quite a long time. The Red was created to compliment it, and Buddy's backstory tweaked to incorporate it. But yes, the Rot is new.

Anyway. My top 5, though it's tough to pick... probably fairly predictable/popular choices, but oh well. In no particular order.

-Action Comics
-Wonder Woman
-Swamp Thing

There are a few more that are very close contenders,a nd ask me tomorrow and I may change the list to include them :p

Of the ones I'm reading, and in no order...

Frankenstein: Agent of S.H.A.D.E.
Batman
Wonder Woman
Flash
Birds of Prey

Really upset they're cancelling Blackhawks. I wouldn't put it in my Top 5, but it was really starting to hit its stride with this last issue. I think it would have grown into a pretty good book if they gave it more time.

1. Red Lanterns…. not sure yet where they’re going with this one, but Im hella excited to find out
2. Green Lantern: New Guardians
3. Swamp Thing… was *not* expecting this to be one of my favs, but Im really enjoying it
4. Batman and Robin… despite my urge to jump into the comic and beat the crap outta that little brat Robin, this one is really good so far
5. Nightwing

Also, Ive been seeing a lot of positive Aquaman reviews, which honestly blows my mind lol Is this one I should at least give a shot?

I always find it amusing when someone on the internet determines another's "coolness" based on how many posts that individual has. Swellin' your ego by bashing others online? Awesome job, dude. Since when did thousands of posts on an internet message board discussing comic books qualify you to put other people down just for posting a simple and, judging from the responses, popular thread? Not all of us are as "cool" as you and aware of everything that has been posted. Ice cold, holmes.

I'd say that's fair.

Honestly, if there were a metacritic type aggregate reviewer for comics, I'm fairly certain that those would be the top four as far as review scores go.

5. Stormwatch - I'm really excited about the upcoming cross over and I consistently enjoy the art.
4. Green Lantern: New Guardians - Best Green Lantern book that isn't 'Green Lantern'
3. Action Comics - I've always loved Superman, but 'Superman' is disappointing every one at the moment. Story just isn't going anywhere. Yet.
2. Justice League - Love, love, love the art. Pretty decent origin story as well. I think everybody reading The New 52 should be reading this.
1. Batman - One of the best Bat arcs I've read in a while. Exciting, creepy and I cannot wait to see what happens next

May be obvious choices, but most of the books are pretty solid

Honourable mention goes to Aquaman
