DC Book of the Week: 21-Dec Edition

It's time again kids, to vote for your favorite DC book of the week!

Normally, I would vote Wonder Woman, but that was an 8/10 for me this week, when it's usually a 10/10. The clear winner this week: Batman Inc - Leviathan Strikes. There was not a moment while reading that when I was not in awe. I had almost forgotten how much I miss Batman Inc.

i've only read 4 outta 8 of my DC books, but i know there is no chance in hell of anything else beating leviathan strikes.

Oh it's definetely Leviathan Strikes. T.H.U.N.D.E.R. Agents was fantastic, Green Lantern Corps was great, Justice League was fun, Batman was good, it was a good week, but Incorporated blew them all away.

Snyder and Capullo are cooking on Batman but nothing beats the full dose of awesome of Batman Inc.- Leviathan Strikes. 2012 and the continuation of the story can't come soon enough for me.

I haven't read anything yet, but the 3 page preview of Leviathan Strikes makes it clear nothing else will even come close. :cool:

Catwoman
Justice League
Legion of Superheroes

They were all fairly good but none was great. I decided to go with LOSH since I thought that was the strongest all-around.

Legion was the best of the "New 52" books this week, but Leviathan was just that much better.

I agree with most of those. I LOVE Azzarello's WW, but there was something about all the puns that did not sit well with me this week. Or maybe it's that #3 was so perfect, that nothing can live up to it. Maybe I'll feel better about it if I read it again.

I keep hearing good things about Supergirl. I wonder whether I should go back and start reading her series. To be honest, I never even gave it a chance mainly because she's not Power Girl, lol.

I'm really enjoying it. All the Super books are great, and I'm getting them all. They've really put together a very good, and interesting story. I'd suggest picking it up(and Superboy if you're interested :p)

LSH was actually surprisingly good - it may indeed have been the best DCnU book (followed by Birds of Prey). Nice to see that the last two issues have been headed in the right direction.

Seriously. Someone needs to whisper to him that this is not 100 Bullets. Thankfully it was toned down a bit as the book progressed but the first couple pages were excruciating.

So Book of the week for me Batman, although it was very close.
