I know any mention of The Hub on this forum usually involves Transformers, G.I. Joe or ponies. However, I recently caught this 5-episode miniseries. I thought it was pretty good. It only bore some superficial resemblances to the board game that inspired it. I still thought it was a pretty good kids' mystery adventure show. It also ended with a lot more questions than answers. I hope it gets turned into a regular series.

Oh, pants! I totally forgot that was on this week! I hope they re-air it or put it on Hub's On Demand channel.

I think they're running a marathon of it this weekend. That's actually the nice thing about watching shows on a kids'/family channel. They tend to repeat things often, particularly if it's some kind of "special event".
The marathon starts tomorrow afternoon at 1:30 Eastern.

More importantly are Tim Curry and Christopher Lloyd involved in any way(yeah I know probably not, but they made the movie fun)?

No. It's not really like the movie. Or the game for that matter. However, they drop references to the game constantly and you're left wondering at the end if some of those characters may have existed in this world in some form before.
The plot actually revolves around six teenagers who end up witnessing what looks like a murder. Each one of the kids corresponds with one of the characters and colors in the original game. They are: Dmitri, a jock and gamer who plays an online strategy game called MUSTARD Wars (Col. Mustard). Lucas, a young braniac who's a member of the Plum Institute (Prof. Plum). Seamus, a streetwise young skater who runs with the Green Scene street art group (Mr. Green). Liz, a flirty young girl with scarlet streaks in her hair (Miss Scarlet). Whitney, an activist who works with a group called White Lights for a better tomorrow (Miss White). And Agnes, a well-connected gossip who writes a blog called The Eyes of the Peacock (Mrs. Peacock).
I know, people are going to be like "Aw, man. It's a bunch of kids." But it's still pretty entertaining. Besides, they did the original group of characters in a certain cult favorite movie. No reason they shouldn't try a different tack.

I thought it was pretty interesting and hope they continue the series since they left a lot of questions unanswered especially what was revealed in the end.

It wasn't bad. You could see the "Kids Show" aspect from time to time, but I would watch it if they did more.

Well, it is a kids' show. Of course, I'm one of a few people who doesn't see a kids' show being like a kids' show as a deterrent.
Well, I still watch The Clone Wars so I can't throw stones. What I meant is that there is almost no violence and the dork kid didn't even get to put his arm around the girl who was into him. It was all very PG.

I really didn't notice. Of course, I tend to think I'm a rare breed in that respect. I'm sort of an adult who's uniquely tuned to a PG sort of wavelength.
