Here's a video interview with Scott Allie. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=viZ5ps_Iais#!) The BPRD stuff kicks in at the 7:20 mark, talking about what he's doing with the BPRD stories he's writing and how it fits in with Arcudi's stuff.
Mike and I really wanted to, alongside all the globe-trotting and globe-destroying stuff the BPRD is going through in Hell on Earth, we also wanted to have some isolated, ugly little horror stories. And that didn't fit into the scheme of what John (Arcudi) was doing so we just started coming up with what we wanted to do. There's some storylines involving vampires that need to get dealt with, and Arcudi doesn't have that much interest in vampires, so that's part of what we're getting into in Pickens County Horror. He also mentions he's working on a one-shot comic called The Transformation of J.H. O'Donnell with Mike Mignola and Max Fiumara about Professor O'Donnell, which promises to be a Lovecraftian kind of story that shows why he's off his rocker.

More news keeps creeping in, and 2012 is gonna be a twisted little freak show for sure.

I'm pretty sure this will be the biggest year yet for the Mignolaverse in terms of output. Seriously, the number of upcoming projects is huge and the year hasn't even begun yet.

Confirmed for 2012:

The Burning Hand (5 issues)
An Unmarked Grave (short story)
Tony Masso’s Finest Hour (short story)
The Long Death (multiple issues)
Hellboy in Hell (5 issues projected)
1948 (multiple issues)
The Pickens County Horror (2 issues)
The Transformation of J.H. O'Donnell (one shot)
Untitled BPRD project (https://fbcdn-sphotos-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-snc7/387034_10150399041459791_45430244790_8175873_11636 02049_n.jpg)

I almost forgot about the professor, it will be nice to finally read his story.

I feel bad for him he is always being carted off when ever he goes into a maniacal rant ... but he always seems to be right about what hes saying.

If this does take on a lovecraftian direction i feel he would fit in properly to a lovecraft story. A crazed professor with secret knowledge about our ancient and terrible history.

Plus the Abe Sapien will likely be kicking off at some point here. I can't imagine they'd be bringing it up if it was tooooo far, but then again 1948 is still pending

Not to mention a few new LoJo short stories, but I've no real idea when they are happening except that it's sometime between The Burning Hand and the next big LoJo miniseries by Tonci Zonjic.
