You know where Dave has those contests with member of the audience? Who's that girl that comes out and gives out the prizes? Is she a staffer? I know she's been on the show for a while. I remember Dave talking to her on the phone a lot before she actually appeared on tv.

Anyway,what's with her? She walks every unlady-like,doesn't smile,and doesn't seem to want to be there.

I haven't seen Dave In such a long time. So I have no Idea.


Back In the early 90's I was watching and Dave was wanting to have some fun so he went walking from the show. The camera followed as he walked behind Tom Brokaw and did some gestures. Brokaw was wondering why people were starting to laugh and turned as Letterman ducked out a few seconds early!


Then Dave walked back and gave the thumbs as Brokaw turned and caught him. He even shared a laugh! That and some other things made me an older fan.

Don't know her name but I think she's a staffer.


As for the walk, I think she just doesn't know how to walk in heels. She's got big muscular calves.

Odd thing you may not realize about Letterman's show: Everyone gets Friday off. They actually tape two shows on Thursday.

I haven't been able to find anything. I looked on Google News, and most of what's there is about the IRL driver who was killed in a crash a few weeks back. Letterman was part owner of Paul Dana's race team.

Also, I checked wikipedia, and there was no mention of his eventual successor there.
