DC closed out the second month of the relaunch with some really quality books. it's going to be interesting to see which title will be tops this week. is it going to be a battle between all-star western and aquaman like last month or is a title like the flash or something else take the top spot. so like always, pick your favorite title from DC this week and let us know why!

Flash. Apsolutely amazing issue.

After last months fantastic issue I was a little disappointed by All Star Western.

Aquaman just didn't do it for me at all. But then I didn't think the first issue was all that either.

Flash. Apsolutely amazing issue.

After last months fantastic issue I was a little disappointed by All Star Western.

Aquaman just didn't do it for me at all. But then I didn't think the first issue was all that either.

it's flash for me as well. some really innovative layouts, beautiful art, and some interesting use of the flash's power. this just beat out all-star western for me.

and as for aquaman, it was the bottom of the my list alongside firestorm.

still got about 5 hours til i get home to read these books, but i'm fairly certain it's gonna be either Flash, Aquaman or JLD that takes the price this week.

I, Vampire. The art of this series is great and I liked how this issue focused on the villian. I expected nothing from this book when it was announced and have been pleasantly surprised so far.
On the other hand I was severely disappointed in All-Star Western, all of the mystery and suspense from the first issue was gone in this one.

Hawkman. I liked the first issue, but honestly I wasn't expecting this much fun in #2. And the art is just beautiful.

I'd say Flash. The art was as magnificent as it was in #1 and the introduction to Barry's new powers was interesting. Reading the behind the scenes of how hard Manapul and Buccellato are working on the series really makes me appreciate the direction it's taking.

All-Star Western comes at a close second. If the coloring were the same then I'd say this would be a contender with Flash for favorite of the week. Still a great issue with great art.

Legion: Secret Origin edged out JL: Dark and Superman for me.

I can't choose between The Flash, Aquaman, Teen Titans, Justice League Dark and Voodoo, I love them all.

So many great books, what an awesome week.

Phenomenal week of comics. My top four are hard to rank, they were all so great.

1. Flash
2. All-Star Western
3. Justice League Dark
4. Aquaman
5. Blackhawks

Dropping:

6. Legion: Secret Origin - liked the story, did not like the art
7. Firestorm - really dislike the story execution

Looking back at the books I've picked...

8/31/11
Justice League #1

9/7/11
Stormwatch #1

9/14/11
Green Lantern #1

9/21/11
Batman #1

9/28/11
The Flash #1

10/5/11
Animal Man #2

10/12/11
Demon Knights #2

10/19/11
Batman #2

10/26/11
The Flash #2

Batman and The Flash are the only 2 I've picked twice. Could it be strength of the week? Or quality of the books? Flash is definitely a great book either way.

I went with Teen Titans, but had Spaceman been on the list I would have gone with that. I bought it purely because it was just a buck and was utterly blown away by it.

Aquaman, for me. Ivan Reis kills it.
