Can four different companies publish the same comic? Isn't there supposed to be some contract that doesn't allow this? Just wondering.

Since most of those look like more creator owned publishing companys it would appear the creators took the work to whichever company was offering them a deal at the time.

I'm pretty sure with Image that the agree to publish a book, but since it's creator owned if you stop publishing through them there is nothing saying that you couldn't take your creation to another company.
