Hello, newb popping off again! Is there a place in these forums dedicated to Marvel roleplaying? And are there any rules or other things I need to know if/when I decide to try and start a roleplaying thread (if such things are allowed)? I looked over the rules and don't immediately see something pointing to anything specifically talking about RP.

I don't know of Marvel specific roleplaying games...

The Traitor Game on this (community) board is essentially a role playing game and Marvel characters are fine, but so are characters from other venues.

The Rumbles board has various RPGs as well, but I'm unsure of the requirements and such. I know some prefer original characters, but if you look there, perhaps you'll find a Marvel-specific one.

If you have any questions about starting your own RPG, just PM the moderator(s) of the board you were thinking of posting it in and see if it's okay.

I'm uncertain if the Marvel board has a RPG on it, but you can always search or ask the mod(s).

Thank you very much! I will do that very thing. Also, I saw somewhere that the mods don't like seeing newbies start a buttload of threads... but I am thinking of moving a fanfic of mine here, which would make like... the fourth one. Think that would be an issue.. ?

Why yes... yes, it does! I wasn't sure whether or not the request that we newer folks not go 'WHEEEE!!!' and post a slew of threads covered that, but it does look like I can quietly start my fic off.

Interesting factoid: the fic I am about to post got ixnayed over on marvel.com because of content. There wasn't even a 'damn' in it... the reasoning was that it alluded to a character's struggle with and decision to recover from addiction.

That was... about when I decided to come over here. :-D
