How long is the first Justice League arc?

Does anybody know? I generally like Geoff Johns stuff (Green Lantern #1 and Aquaman #1 were good), but this did absolutely nothing for me. The last page really left me crestfallen, another pointless Superman/Batman fight. Really? I don't know if the rest of the "this is how the Super Friends got together' story will hold my interest any better. I'd like to give the book another chance when it progresses to the "present", and is past the tedious rehash.

That's what I was thinking, but was hoping someone had some more concrete information. If so, I'll probably drop the book until #7, and hope the "mini-relaunch" is a bit more interesting.

i heard it was gonna be 6 issues with the 7th bridging the gap between 5 years ago and the present.
