If you think "Funeral" is great, you HAVE to see them live. Take it from a person that normally doesn't enjoy live shows.

On Monday night, i got the chance to see them perform at The Casbah in San Diego and they were simply amazing. Unbelieveable. If you can believe it, they sounded better live than on their CD... they really rock hard live, whereas the CD comes off less than rocking (although still pretty awesome)

I actually told my buddy that if I had heard them live and then bought the CD, I would be disappointed with it. Great energy, great sound... great everything.

If you get a chance to see them live, do so.

What I really liked about album was the soft quietness of songs like Crown of Love, Accidents, Haiti…
But I could really see the rock potential of songs like Wake Up and Neibourhood.

I quickly fell in love with Arcade Fire. First chance I get I’m gonna seem em live.

I've heard they put on one hell of a show. Hopefully they come around here sometime. For some reason, Montreal bands rarely seem to do shows in Ottawa. We're only two hours away!

I'm hoping that Funeral wasn't just a fluke though. I've read that their earlier recordings are really quite bad.

I like Neighborhood #3 (Power Out) and Rebellion (Lies) but not feeling rest of the record. They are talented though.

I just picked up their CD, "Funeral", after seeing a news clip and interview with the band on MTV2. I'm a self-admitted Top 40 Whore of the worst kind, so buying something even remotely "indie" is something I never thought I'd find myself doing. I've got to admit though, I'm really glad I picked up the CD.

It's not all to my taste exactly, but I really like the songs "Wake Up", "Neighborhood #1 (Tunnels)", and "In The Back Seat". My favorite would have to be "Rebellion (Lies)", because something about the sound of that song just hits a chord with me and sends shivers down my damn spine.

I think they're very talented and have plenty of potential, but good lord, I went to their website and they're all going to need lots of artist development... I mean a make-over of epic proportions. I saw some footage of them live in concert, and honest to God, I didn't know if I was looking at this great band performing, or a low-budget production of Little Orphan Annie. Time to call in a stylist.

Oh well, at least they're a lot easier on the ears than the eyes.

That's part of the fun, they look so weird in person. And hit each other for percussion. The few live performances I've seen have been pretty interesting.

I've only heard a couple songs or so at my friend's house, they were really great. That's good that yous guys say they put on a sweet show, they're going to be at Coachella when I'm there on day 2.

Does anyone know what they're up to now? Touring? Working on a new album?
