I apologise beforehand knowing how silly it is to create such topic when every day many people ask the same question. But I didnt find similar thread with search and didn't want to hijack someone else's plead for help. I registered here and posted this topic knowing this community has one of the wides audiences for different kind of comics and it seems to be impossible to get simple recommendations anywhere since people mostly review stuff or list tons of good comics (that often aren't directly aimed for my taste.)

I've been reading comics a lot for few years now since they've been more and more available here in my home country. I have a sort of taste that makes it hard for me to find stuff that interests me, mainly because I'm interested in adult themes which seems to be shunned at in all the bigger stores. And if I dive into comic book stores, there's just too much stuff there to go through.

Here is a list of comics I have enjoyed a lot (in no particular order):

-Preacher
-Y: The Last Man
-The Boys
-Sandman
-Lucifer
-The Walking Dead
-American Vampires
-Transmetropolitan
etc

So I'm looking for adult themed comics with big ethical questions, maybe violence, maybe cursing, dont mind nudity...so on...

So is there anything out there for me?

(And again, I apologise for making such a silly topic)

You can certainly look for Vertigo books because they probably all satisfy your themes, as far as DC and Marvel, there probably wont be any cursing or nudity.
But I think you might enjoy the DC new 52 since theyre definitely pushing boundaries in terms of sex and violence. Green Lantern Corp has them slicing alien green lanterns into 2. Red Lanterns, I,Vampire, Ressurection Man, Suicide Squad, Deathstoke, Men Of War, All Star Western, Animal Man, Swamp Thing and Catwoman are all rated teen plus, so I think you might enjoy them.

You should check out the Dark Line of the new 52. It's pretty much "Vertigo into DCnU". Also Fables is pretty good.

Try Locke & Key by Joe Hill, from IDW.

Possibly the best book out there right now from any publisher.

I would recommend(from DC):
-100 Bullets
-Fables
-Secret Six
-Jonah Hex
-Batwoman
-Planetary
-Seven Soldiers

From Hell (get ready to put some time in, but it's well worth it)
Hitman (mainly an odd shoot-em-up in the DCU, but it can get serious as all get out when needed)
Concrete (great sci-fi tweaking of the hoary old "man becomes hulking monster"-cliche that's up there with-- maybe even surpasses-- Alan Moore's Swamp Thing)
Punisher MAX (Garth Ennis run only)

A lot of these seem very interesting! I think I'll check out the local comic book store later!

Any other suggestions?

(The list is getting quite long, but I dont mind hehe!)

Black Hole by Charles Burns. Coming of age, sex, mutations - it's a strange and absorbing book with Burns' distinctive art style.

I second all of these.
