One of my fave anime movies! i saw this movie 16 years ago when i was 14 turning 15 when i rented it, loved it. Sexy, vibrant, stunningly well animated and loaded with imagination abound including in the monsters.

This was my introduction to Yoshiaka Kawajari who made Ninja Scroll, Demon city Shinjuki and Vampire Hunter D Bloolust to Animatrix. The film predates The X-Files in terms of agents fighting uncanny forces and was inspired by the works of David Cronenberg especially the body-sex horror of his films and John Carpenter's The Thing.

Gotta love the horny old wiseman who never fails to make anyone laugh and probably rivals Master Roshi for biggest old sex-driven guy ever.

I introduced a few people to anime in my middle and high school...I used this anime as one of my introductory anime. Me and my friend Demetrius could quote practically every line that old bastard said.

Yes i can recite him too and i believe he's everyone's fave character as he steals the show.
