What's with the funeral procession? Carol alone could heft the big lug. Also, Strange should have left with them.

Carol could probably carry him, but if there's a chance he's got a hurt neck or back then you want multiple people supporting his weight.

And they might need Strange to stick around to help evacuate the city. He can maybe teleport or fly people out or something.

I sort of wish Peter and Logan were around in a situation like this where the Avengers teams decide to split up after working together. Would they stay with Lukes team or leave with the other one? Though Carol left, so I suppose it doesn't matter.

You make good points.

It's just hard feeling not feeling like these guys aren't using everything at their disposal as best as they can.

Also where are the Fantastic Four in this?

Ms. Marvel is on the wrong team.

Still Cage actually did something of note which is a real shocker.

I suppose we get the mighty by the end of this issue so something to complain about in the future.

God with all the good stuff DC is putting out I almost forgot this rubbish was still going.

Still dreadful. 4 pages and still nothing happens. Oh wait the teams split up. Maybe if they didnt insist on double page spreads, talking heads and 3 panel pages they could have got that done in one page.

Hey guys we need to get Thor back to Asgard.

Okay Cap my team will hold the fort here.

Plus how seriously camp does Cap look on that first page.

Le Yawn.

I'll say this much I'm glad Cage actually got a brief moment, I didn't even realize he was in this event.

Marvel really needs to step it up, I'm only picking up 2 marvel books regularly now, and I'm way more foccused on DC at the moment

Lets try to keep the thread Marvel-focused guys. It'd be nice not to devolve into another Marvel vs DC debate.

I find it showing some great art as it seems that Stuart Immonen always seems to deliver some good art in his work.

And people say there's no story to Fear Itself. Phah. I can't wait to get this thing.

That Cap variant looked cool.

Agreed.

Luke Cage fans should be happy with this too, taking a lead role and commanding the New Avengers.

Yeah, Carol did sort of leave with the wrong team.

Still, I suppose she didn't want to stiff Steve and Clint with lugging around Thor. He looks pretty heavy.

Yeah. It's not a big deal or anything, but it's a nice little spot in the book. I'm glad to see it.

Why do they need to figure out how to evacuate NYC?
Dont they do it every other week?

Nah. They almost never evacuate New York, no matter what happens.

You never actually ever see mass evacs of NYC in Marvel.

So for all thier retoric we really dont know how the Avengers are going to pull something like this off.

Unless Steve or Fury have a spare Helicarrier or two around for this kind of thing (and you would sort of expect them to), this wont be a picnic for these guys.

Strange is about the only guy on Cage's team who could pull a mass evac off.

Figures the one time Quicksilver would be a real asset, he aint around.

I suppose Pyms doors might be handy in this sort of situation, if they're available.

I thought they did a mass evac in World War Hulk. At least, that was the closet thing I've seen to it in recent memory. Hell, the Hulk himself told them to leave because he was about to kick some serious tail.

Love it, Marvel tease a few X-Team members and you get about 200 posts. They preview they're big event and can't even muster two pages. Speaks volumes.
