So I buy the comic at the store for $4! I guess the cashier made a mistake since there IS a $22 price tag on it. Gave it to me for regular price! Back to the story, CYBORG IS ON THE COVER! He is no longer missing from Finch's Variant.

I noticed that too...wonder if they just took him out of the preview (for whatever reason) or were like "oh man, ppl are hating on us for not having Cyborg...Finch, fix this really quick!"

I'm not too fond of the "Planet of the Apes" Superman face, but I do like the others. :)

It's not as horrible a cover as last year's Avengers #1 by JRjr, but it has a similar awkward vibe of a big guy floating and leaning forward right above the heads of his teammates, like Thor and Iron Man did on that earlier cover.

Don't even get me started on JRjr. LOL

I don't do Variants and I'm not a big fan of this cover so I stuck with the regular Jim Lee one but I'm glad dc caught it's mistake cause it was pretty ridiculous that they nixed Cyborg

Lee just wants to make sure that we understand that this is a serious comic for serious people, and everything is going to be grim and gritty, just like the '90s.

Why is it six grown men and one teenage girl with a boob job?

Finch drew this variant not Lee

Yeah, but Lee is now co-publisher of DC Comics, so he has a lot of say in how the comics are going to look during the re-boot. He might not be too focused on some of the reboot #1s, but you can bet the farm that Jim Lee is very concerned about the cover variants for Justice League #1.

Didio, Lee and Johns have a pretty good idea of what modern fans want to see.

I guess.

They know that we are all staring at Wonder Woman's gravity-defying breasts.

I loved Justice League #1 so I'm not trying to complain about everything but that Finch variant (the original, the new one with Cyborg, whatever) is one of the worst covers I've ever seen. It's really just terrible. I almost can't believe editorial or whoever gave it the thumbs up, it's like embarrassingly bad IMO.

I could of sworn afterwards that I was only charged $2.99 for my Justice League issue. I didn't go back to correct the person. I don't know that was intentional or not. I'm assuming 'not'.

They need more chicks in comics these days. Just my opinion.

I thought you were going to say a Wonder Woman nip slip or something...

Seriously though, you're a lucky sod to have picked that up for cover price. Screw you other guys, I really like it - I would have paid $50 for that sucka (got it for $20).

Yeah, isn't Wonder Woman supposed to be like 6'4''? Bruce towers her.

Not to mention they made Diana look like a stripper.

If I was Cyborg, I'd be pissed right now. He narrowly escaped the terrible fate that is that cover, and then everybody complained about it and he was stuck right back in. Bummer for him.

whatever it is. I loved how david portrayed diana. she looks hot and her hair looks so silky. much better than the mullet look jim is doing for her. nevertheless, i still love jim's art

That variant hurts my eyes.

I generally like Finch's art, but the perspective on that looks really off somehow.

Thats a really bad cover, the Jim Lee one isn't much better. Superman looks like Gorilla Grodd and The Flash and Cyborgs faces are nearly identical. They should've gotten Ivan Reis, Gary Frank, Rags Morales or Nicola Scott to draw it instead, they really needed a iconic, powerful and memorable cover for whats supposed to be a landmark comic, both of the covers are bad and forgettable.

You're totally right! It was luck! Even had the $22 price tag on it! But yeah, I was also expecting to pay $50- cause of modern day over pricing of hyped stuff. But $22 was great, but $4 is better. Aha!

Speak for yourself. I've been staring at her deformed right leg.

I keep wondering if a parademon permanently bent her leg sideways in battle.

If you're a regular with a pull-list, they may have charged you cover price on purpose. Sort of an indication that they appreciate you being a long-standing customer. Some comic shops do that.

OH really? I didn't know that! Probably then! I won't bother asking them though.. Might not be the reason! HAHA.
