I'd have to go with Batman-Knight of Vengeance closely followed by Project Superman, both were nothing short of excellent.

KoV provided a really interesting look at a much darker Batman and the twist with the Joker wasn't surprising but it was absolutely fascinating.

PS on the other hand had some excellent character work and arguably cut to the very core of why Superman is such a great character, it doesn't matter what you do to him. he's Kal-El the last son of Krypton and he has heroism hard-wired into his ridiculously awesome DNA.

A dishonourable mention goes to Legion of Doom, Adam Glass' writing is trying so hard to be EDGY and EXTREME that it becomes laughable and this tie-in is why I'm certain Suicide Squad will be terrible.

Its hard to pick as there were so many good ones. For the overall solid book I have to give it to KOV.

Knight of Vengeance
Kid Flash
World of Flashpoint
Frankenstein
Project Superman
Lois Lane

Those are all in the running. Im hoping alot of flashpoint falls through the cracks into the DCnu.

Element Woman (already in)
The Outsider
Britannia
Hot Pursuit
Midwarp (already in)

Exactly what I was thinking.

You have to give Legion of Doom Props for writing a great Cyborg.

Cyborg was pretty decent, the problem is that Glass writes villainous characters as ridiculous caricatures, and this is the guy they gave a book about villains to.

Knight of Vengeance, easy. One of Azzarello's best works, imo, and one of my favorite alternate world/'Elseworlds'-esque takes on the Batman. I liked some of the others, too, like Project: Superman and The Outsider, but KoV was a work of art, imo.

I didn't follow the main series at all and the only two tie-ins that intrigued me were BKOV and the Secret Seven.

SS didn't really do anything for me. I don't know if reading the main series would have helped any. This Shade seemed somewhere between the Rac Shade of yore and Milligan's take on the character and less than the sum of his parts.

BKOV was actually very good. All I really had to know for this was "What if Bruce had died instead of his parents?" Very effective, nasty little story. So that gets my vote here.

True but Why did they not do a Cyborg mini during Flashpoint

I chose Hal Jordan because its the most memorable ending. Not the best story, but the ending was so impactful, I couldnt help get emotional

Kid Flash: Lost was hands down my favorite. I didn't like Aquaman AT ALL, and KOV was ok, but it seemed rushed from the first issue. I haven't had the chance to see the second yet.

That's a good question.

You'd think that between a large role in a major crossover and status as one of the new JLA Big Seven he'd get at least a one-shot, but apparently not.

Batman:Knight of Vengeance.

I wish Project Superman culd have been a longer series than just a mini - interesting idea for a Superman to start out.
