Welcome to CBR's Wrestling Fantasy League (WFL).

How the WFL works:

You pick 10 wrestlers/wrestling personalities. Your picks are in place once the month starts. Picks are not locked up if someone else picks them before you. I will be playing as well, though I can not win.

During the month, I will be scoring points for WWE RAWs, Superstars, Smackdowns, and PPVs.

For the month of September, there are 4 RAWs, 5 Superstars, 4 Smackdowns (The first Smackdown of September is a rerun of a live event in August), and one PPV (Night of Champions on 09/18/11) for 14 total scheduled events.

Picks can be made/edited until 08/31/11 11:59 PM (PST).

The person with the highest total at end of the month wins their choice of a wrestling related digital sketch from me.

How the points are awarded:

Television live appearance (+3)
Television featured promo (+2)
Television match intervention (+2)
Television match (+5)
Television win (+7)
Television loss (-2)

All Shows: Get a pin/submission (+1)
All Shows: Get pinned/submitted (-1)
All Shows: Win a battle royal type match (+5)
All Shows: Win a Championship (+20)
All Shows: Retain a Championship (+8)
All Shows: Lose a Championship (-10)

PPV live appearance (+5)
PPV featured promo (+3)
PPV match intervention (+4)
PPV match (+8)
PPV win (+12)
PPV loss (-6)

Thought I'd add a list of the most likely possible choices. Keep in mind that this list does not include background talent or NXT wrestlers. Also if you think you can predict a new or old wrestler appearing in the WWE (say HBK returning or Colt Cabana debuting), you can my them a pick. But you run the risk of getting no points if they do not show up during that month.

Also, if a tag team wins, do both guys get the 7 points?

2. Evan Bourne (if this tag team wins, it's after his finisher).

3. R-Truth (show crossover appeal)

4. Sin Cara (Mistico version because I think they'll push him over the Hunico
version)

5. Sheamus (he'll land on a title)

6. Cody Rhodes (hoping for a good title run).

7. Kofi Kingston (I doubt this new tag team will lose much)

8. Alex Riley (sadly, I think Ziggler will lose his belt)

9. Randy Orton (The guy hardly loses and he can also come out and interfere matches)

10. HHH (coming out on both shows while cutting promos will add up)

For now I'm treating Sin Cara as one character. If the WWE does go a two Sin Caras angle, I'll try to split the points accordingly.

Both members of the team get win/loss points. The person who gets the pin/gets pinned does get 1 extra or less point.

Alberto Del Rio-He's going to have the belt when they go to mexico, especialy with Rey gone.
CM Punk- I don't see them not putting Punk on TV given how hot he is, nor do i see them letting Nash beat him.
John Cena- Cena isn't going to beat ADR, but he's going to be on TV a lot, and probably win matches.

R-Truth-tying these two together, i think they are going to get some wins and take the belts at ppv.

Beth Phoenix-They had her lose and then stupidly ignored it and continued the angle, but she's ending up with that belt.

Cody Rhodes- He's going to beat Teddy because they don't know how to book, but he will keep he belt.
Randy Orton-Orton doesn't lose! He's an incredibly safe bet. I will literaly shit my pants if Henry beats him. Even given my dislike of Orton, if he can't see Henry, i don't see anyone else being able too, because they constantly remind us Randy Orton is the best thing on Smackdown.
Sin Cara- He sells too much merch to not get used.
Daniel Bryan- This is a risky one, but he's lost twice in a row on TV, so i have a feeling they are going to let him win twice now.
