Did have a scene with Tomar Re getting mad at the Guardians for forgetting that he's a bird? Because is so, I believe it's an adaptation.

I remember watching a parody video on YouTube near the film's release, making fun of his obscurity, can't remember the title, but it was hilarious. People were saying things like "He has a ring, and can...Do stuff with it," and the fake newscaster called him "Greg Lantern." It was great.
