Team ups are usually counted as out of continiuty from what I hear; ala how Shurikenger returned in Aba vs Hurri (and the fact that the teamup didn't fit in between any Aba episodes). Besides, who cares? Having Mikoto back is a good thing.

Uhm, I don't really understand why people are so hot for having all these one-shot rangers like Swan, Gold and Bright appear. They've all appeared only once, and it was pretty much indicated that it was a one-shot thing that won't happen again (Swan and Bright might show up for the finale, but I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for it to happen).

Guys, don't get too eager. It's unlikely the team-up will actually feature all of the things in what must be obviously fake promo pictures. I mean, seriously... DekaMaster and Abarekiller team-up, Ban Ban and Ryouga face-off and even girl rangers in kimonos again? Isn't there a law of physics that says there can only be so much hawtness in the universe? The team-up hinted at in the pictures simply isn't possible. :p

That's true. Gimme a system based around multiples of 'ten' any day of the week.

Although, imperial does have some uses. I see 10 feet as one storey, and use this as a rough calculation for just about any large height-type stuff (including zords).

For everything else I use metric, though, but I like the 'feet' thing for sorting out height.

The one thing I should point out about Ransik, though, is that although his greatest feat is wiping out the entire team of TF Rangers with minimal effort, that *did* require large doses of PIS for the good guys.

If they'd really busted out their time-manipulation powers (or even heavy use of the Chrono Sabres), they probably would've at least stalemated with him, rather than get their asses thoroughly beaten down in a humiliatingly-onesided curbstomp.

Btw, I think the movie just showed that the AbaRanger aren't damn near invulnerable in SDM like some people used to imply :)

Yeah, clip 6 has some problems apparently, and won't work on most players. I was lucky that I used VLC first (since it's never failed to play anything for me) and saw it fine, though I think Kraah didn't have much luck with it, and it either didn't play on VLC, or did it badly. He can tell you more about which players can handle it, he tried 5 or 6 before he got one that worked.

It's a shame, though, because it's the best clip, though closely followed by 5 with Killer's return. I'm just thankful we had Big One and Gaoranger vs Super Sentai as training to prepare our minds and bodies to (barely) withstand so much jaw. We'd surely be dead otherwise.

Actually, no, it's not you who said it. But back when DT first premiered, there were a few that said SDM/Abare Mode put the DT/Abarangers in a league above all other teams. The crossover pretty much proved them otherwise. And back when DT premiered, there were only 6 DekaRanger episodes that were released in RAW. I kept telling them, "wait till there's more, wait till there's more," because I knew deep down that DekaRanger feats would later eclipse SDM.

Heck, Asuka busted it out 2 minutes after the series started, so it wasn't as "special" as SDM was in DT (though DT had some SDM jobbing to Elsa scenes). I always attributed Elsa wearing down Trent in SDM to the fact that Trent's power was split up between himself and the clone, actually, so that Trent was weaker when he was struggling against Elsa. But even then, Trent's power was reduced to that of an average ranger (so only before and after the clone was he really powerful), so beating SDM, even an average ranger's SDM, wasn't that hard.

Myself, I always thought that Abaremode was a bit stronger than SDM, because Abaranger had a tendency to show more feats. DT rarely showed feats outside of fighting skill and speed, so there was little to compare actual strength and durability to something concrete.

They were gawking at the bird that escaped when they got handcuffed (y'know, damn that Ranger superspeed... :) ).

Besides, it was comedy, and I liked that little twist on the usual Dekaranger prologue.

Well, yeah, that's pretty much a given since Lost Galaxy, Ninja Storm being the exception, it didn't team-up with Wild Force since it didn't want to ruin a great series with, well, Wildforce :D (also, PR changed from Saban to Disney)

Urm...didn't really have a problem with Wildforce, but I guess most Ranger-ites do. The Tarzan-angle was a little hokey, but I don't think they harped on it as much as they could have.
