Hopefully that's not the final suit, otherwise, why would she even be called "Catwoman" in the film then?

More like just a modern woman with a leather fetish.

"Why doesn't Bane look more like a cheesy luchador? F**k this movie!"

"Why doesn't Catwoman have ears? F**k this movie!"

You know what? Why don't we just have Schumacher come back and give you all the villain gimmicks you want?

Chris Nolan and Joel Schumacher aren't our only two choices. There's a world of Batman between those two extremes.

As for Catwoman, it's alright, I guess. The bodysuit looks okay and I can see what they were going for with the goggles. I bet flipped up they look a bit like the cat mask Eartha Kitt/Lee Meriwether/Julie Newmar wore.

You cant deny that. Well.... too much green and veins but is on point.

But for some reason.....

I still find the mask strange but that jacket and vest thing i am really liking.
Maybe is the Fonz collar effect or something.

And if cat women doesnt have her ears she isn't going to look like anything but.........

No. It's not.

Its kind of close. I might lose some of the excess tubes, and get rid of the spikes, and as already mentioned less green and less vanes, but that's a pretty faithful adaptation of Bane. Sorry.

Oh, it looks similar to the comic book version, no doubt. But that's not what Nolan is doing in these films, and his style is where much of the appeal of these films comes from. There is an element of realism at play here. That's what makes Nolan's films head over heels better than Schumacher's.

You would rather have Nolan's Batman ditch the current getup in favor of blue and gray spandex with a big yellow bat-symbol on the chest? Some white eyebrows drawn on the cowl, perhaps?

That Bane with the tubes, spikes, veins, over-exaggerated muscles, and silly luchador mask looks like he is straight out of an episode of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, not Nolan's version/vision of Batman.

It's less about realism with Catwoman and more that she's probably just going to be a thief who doesn't dress up like a cat. And Bane, well, it makes sense that he doesn't look like the Bane we know, since even then, the mask doesn't make sense. Why do you think it was changed in the DCAU?

Why bother making a Batman movie if it's not going to resemble a Batman comic?

(Just a response to your comment, I have no idea what the final look of the characters will be.)

Because the last two Batman movies they made, which didn't look much like a Batman comic, made more than a billion dollars.

Dude, come on. Get your facts straight. Buffy never had a luchador....

that was Angel.

Two-Face looked like Two-Face, realism be damned. The Joker was obviously the Joker.

And while those portrayals got the point across, neither one of them really looked very much like their comic book counterparts. And, of course, Ra's Al Ghul looked nothing like the comics, and Scarcrow had only the mask (which he wore for about 45 seconds) and nothing else from the comics. And, as near as I can tell from these pics, Catwoman is wearing a full body black body suit and googles, just like in the comics.

Yeah, Nolan takes the fun out of Batman.

Yeah, Nolan takes the fun out of Batman.

I see that a lot and I just can't wrap my head around it as both movies were pretty fantastic thrill rides. They were both extremely fun to watch, and I have no doubt in my mind the third will be as well.

Are they god's gift to comic book movies as some would say? No, they're not perfect, but what film is? They are exciting and entertaining and they tell compelling stories, and at the end of the day that's all that matters.

Idk, he made Bruce a bit of a whiner and he's grounded to reality thing is a bit of a pain in the ass for me especially when you have sonic water evaporators that don't make humans explode or men with missing half his face live more than 10minutes yet he takes everything else so seriously.

Batman is a superhero, I feel he should cut loose a little more. I'm not saying go camp, but there's more to Batman than this brooding and emo side we've been shown.

This is not to say I didn't enjoy his movies, I just feel they're a little overrated. Just a little.

I just looked at these photos for the 2nd time and one thing happened. I heard Michael Ironside doing the Sam Fisher voice in my head as I looked at Hathaway's outfit.

i'm sure there is some science that covers that but i dont want to look now.

Missing skin isnt going to cause you to die, he would just be in intense pain, as said in the movie, but he apparently was able to take it. The one real problem is his eye, without eyelids he cant moisten, clean, etc, on that eye and he would be bothered by it pretty quick.

Two-Face was anything but realistic. It's pointless to argue this.

What really bothers me is Hathaway as Catwoman. If Cotillard was Catwoman, I would be more than okay with just the blacksuit.

I love TDK but I think they should have made Two-Face's scarred faced a little more realistic. The eye has already been mentioned, but also, if he had no lips on that side, wouldn't he be drooling all the time?

Bane's look is the best though.

I only would have really complained about Two Face if he lived into part 3. He wasn't really burn and out of the hospital that long in TDK.
