BK is the writer I most prize - Moore be damned.
I read his works (some of them) like they're a writing bible. I hold no post-shame about Y: The Last Man and cannot understand why anyone would feel such a thing. I rate it as my favourite comic and one of my favourite stories of all time. Ex Machina is damn good, but not quite on Y's level. Pride of Baghdad is sublime. I don't mind Runaways, not the greateness others profess, and his Ultimate X-Men run was pretty bad. Logan was okay and I only just got my hands on the Mystique collection so I'll get back to you on that one.
Saga is easily the best news of the con.

I say "yes".
Well as much as I like Alan Moore too (and my next tattoo includes a panel from WATCHMEN)...
Mr. Moore grew up to be a stodgy, angry old man.

I love what Jason Aaron had to say about Moore.
Shaking his fist from his window...you kids get out of my yard!!! That kinda thing...
I still love Alan Moore as a writer though. Nonetheless, I found Ryan's post about BKV to be whimsical & contextual.

Did I actually need to damn Moore? Well...that's not exactly what I was going for. * be damned is more a saying, I wasn't actually condemning him to hell. But if it came down to a choice, him or BKV, I know where my get out of jail free card would be spent.
Oh, and I don't know how I failed to mention BKV's The Escapists. One of those perfect comics as a comic. Golden.
