For those of you who have International Channel, this is an update to their Anime showings:
Starting Next Monday, the 17th, at 11pm Eastern 8pm Pacific, will start Now and Then, Here and There. It is, in my opinion, one of the best anime series ever made, and is most certainly the best thing to come out of Akitaroh Daichi's works.
Read the description presently on Anime.com of the series if you're interested. Its an intense series that may not be for everyone, but I dare you to sit through all 13 episodes in order to see what its truly about.
Airing at the same time but on Tuesdays is Black Jack. The episodes are, with commercials, one hour long. It airs from 11-12 or 8-9 (Eastern/Pacific). One episode already aired this past Tuesday. Episode 2 comes on the 18th. This series won't be appealing to many. It's not an action show, its a medical drama with occasional supernatural elements. Very dialogue heavy, though also originally made by Osama Tezuka, so Anime Elitist who just have to see everything out there might be interested.
Also, old news, but Record of Lodoss War has been airing on Fridays in the same timeslot. It repeats at the same time on Sundays. The TV series will air after the OVA concludes.
When NTHT and Black Jack finish their runs they are likely to be replaced with the Patlabor series and some of the other things IC recently secured.
