Hey all!

Just finished watching S1 of LAS VEGAS on DVD and REALLY enjoyed it. I've been watching Josh Duhamel since he showed up as Leo Du Pres on AMC and he's perfect on the show. The season finale was extremely strong. The "I will [kill you]" moment with Mary's dad was powerful. They ever follow up on that? And how did Danny return?

So what do you think of the second season?

I've only seen a few eps, but it seems to be fun thus far.

I had started an Official Season 2 thread for the show, but I was so turned off by the second season premiere I really haven't been back since.

Are Danny and Mary together or did they break them up again to keep the "will they or won't they" stupidity going even longer?

I tried searching for the thread- my bad!

As far as I can tell, Danny & Mary aren't together, but it seems accepted that they're "exclusive" to each other or something.

I think if they got rid of all the crapola casino stuff, I'd watch again. I just can't get into it anymore.

Love Nikki Cox though.

So how did Danny return? What was the explanation?

He came back in the first episode, and it was said that he completed his job or whatever that they dragged him back for.

He had issues with whatever he did and came close to committing suicide. It was a preposterously bad episode. Turned me off to the show.

On the surface that actually sounds interesting to me but since I've seen no evidence of that effect on Danny in later episodes, I guess they just ignored it.

It just felt so completely fake to me. It was "Let's have something "REAL" happen to Danny and have it affect him on the season premiere."

It was entirely too calculated to be the slightest bit interesting.

The show has been renewed for a third season by NBC.
