With Magneto De-Aged, are his children actually older than their father?

That is the official explanation for why they were born a few years after WW2 and are not middle aged right now.

Even if Mags WAS in the body of a 30 year old and Quicksilver's is 33, so what? Mags has mad gravitas and Quicksilver is whiny, so nobody is going to confuse who the Daddy is between the two. (In any case, I assume Mags is in the body of a 36 year old or so and Quicksilver is in the body in its 20s)

Hand to hand training isnt the way to get a six pack. You have to have to eat healthy (real healthy not American healthy). Some people don't even have to workout their abs that much. You just need to get to around 10% bodyfat for your abs to show a good definition.

I think, based solely on how the characters look, his children are still younger than him. I figure when he was re-aged, he did become younger, but was still placed in his 50s or 60s.

On a related note, though, Quicksilver did note that Joseph was younger than him.

Magneto is in his late 30s, and Pietro and Wanda are in their mid- to late 20s. So, he's still older. But artists take a lot of liberties with Magneto's appearance. For my own peace of mind, in-Universe, I attribute some of the disparity to when Magneto is exhausted and has been misusing his powers again, and he appears older, the lines on his face more accentuated, circles under his eyes. But that's just my own way of rationalizing the artistic differences.

In terms of what is actually in the comics, Magneto is one of the few characters whose age has been pinned down. He had multiple doctors examine him during his trial (UNCANNY #200) and was said to be in his early 30s, physically. "Inferno" began in UNCANNY #240 (I think Oct. 1988) and in NEW MUTANTS #16 we learn that was 4 years ago, Marvel Time. Given that "Inferno" was a year or less from the time of Magneto's "Trial" Marvel-Time (he didn't last through a full school year as headmaster of the New Mutants), he can't be more than 40 years old now, physically.

If you say "early 30s" means anywhere from 30-years-old to 34-years-old, then he now would be anywhere from 35 to 39 years old. I say he's physically around 38-39 years old. If you want to say, "40" that's cool too. But he's no older than that, physically.
