You know I love that issue, it's probably the most priced comic in my permanent collection (as small as it is) but I am disapointed that there was so little interaction between Batman and Holmes.

Mike Barr/Alan Davis was so good, damn sure it was so short(Barr did that crappy Year Two thing and Alan Davis left to Marvel for, admitingly, the awesome in its own right Excalibur with Claremont).

Haha awesome typical Sherlock Holmes smartness.

I have a big weakness for both, they are by far my two fav detective characters in fiction. I wish Batman was written as smart detective chasing the clues more often these days. Thats why i like 80s,90s Batman stories.

I really want to see Batman interact with the BBC Sherlock, that's played by Bennedict Cumberbatch.

I do too. If I could I would slip the idea to Geoff Johns for Earth One. Though if Holmes appears in a DCU WB would probably push for him being the RDJ's version.

I remember there was a Brave and the Bold with Holmes. The last line Batman says to Holmes made me smile, after Batman tells Holmes he knows who he is, Holmes asks how he knows, then Batman says something like "Everyone knows you, You're the World's Greatest Detective"

Glad you liked it but as a Sherlock Holmes fan I hated that episode. Hated. It. It was probably written by someone who had never read/watched/listen to any kind of Sherlock Holmes media and probably took him a couple of tries for him not to misspell the name.

OK I might not like that episode but it apparently inspired this awesome fan art (Photoshop)

I just saw that recently. That show is freaking amazing. That guy is destined to be a Batman villain.

LMAO! That is great. You won't find to many people who love Sherlock Holmes more than I do. I'm always messing with my brother that Batman can't touch Sherlock as a detective.

No, in pure observational and deductive skills, Sherlock just houses Bruce Wayne.

That being said, Sherlock Holmes can't lift 300 pounds, run 4 minute miles, isn't jet qualified, probably has no interest in automobile mechanics, can't beat up 50 armed goons by himself and his best friend, though an admirable Army Doctor, is not the modern day Sun God Christ-Analogue.

Imagine if they WERE friends like back in that Barr issue ...

In total agree. Sherlock is the world's greatest detective, but Batman isn't far behind and Holmes can't match Bruce's physical skills. I just mess with my little brother as he is a huge Batman and I'm a huge Sherlock fan.
