i would be but im rather angry of late (rant on) , i wanna know why if the Aussie Dollar is higher than the US one , we still are paying anywhere from 30 to 140 dollars more on figures and the like ( rant off)

it kinda sucks , for example the WW trophy room was 450 dollars , thats 471 USD , sometimes i hate it that Australia is so ruddy far away
having said that im DEF getting the WW JLA icon figure

I know! The latest DCUC Wave 17 with Star Sapphire was $25.00 each. Thankfully I found one loose on Ebay from one of the sellers in Asia for almost half the price with free shipping to Australia. The CSA Wonder Woman/Superwoman also currently seems to be available loose for a decent price given the figure will only be available in a box set.

i am not buying any of the above. in fact have been cutting back (drastically) on my dc purchases. not buying any of the titles until after september (and then maybe only a couple).

I'm definitely getting the figure and would LOVE to have the statue. Unfortunately until I can find one cheaper I will have to wait on it.

I knew the action figure was hitting this week, but I thought the statue was shipping next week. Anyway, I'm picking up all of the above (I have to stay in good with my LCS!)

Until an action figure is made, this will be the only 3-D representation of the "Odyssey" outfit and I'm looking forward to see how much detail DCD put into it. I'm also wondering if they improved on the headsculpt on the "Icon" figure. The prototype looked a little dough-eyed to me.

Hey, did you pick up the DC Cover Girl Armored WW yet? The detail on that thing is amazing. It's the best Cover Girls statue that DCD's put out so far. I love all the feathers in the wings, and the armor came together really well. I can't believe no one's talked about it yet. I found a review online and I might start a thread with it.

i know but i saw DCUC WW sapphire up close , its hell mingin in the torso so i didnt buy it , it just looked so weird :eek:

I've been tempted to pick up some of the heroclix figs for a while, but I haven't gotten around to it.

The Wonder Woman Icon figure looks great, and I'm happy with her. But watch out: although the paint apps on her body are good, a few figures in the cases that I went thru at the comics shop had one eye painted larger than the other. It was easy to find one with evenly painted eyes, but I think it's worth noting to make sure anybody interested would inspect the faces before they buy.

I'm also happy with the statue. If you like "Odyssey" and want to have a high-end item to memorialize it in your collection it's worth picking up. The quality of the paint apps on this is also excellent. The only differences between the production run and the protoype are that there's no detail on the amulet in the choker, and the eyes are painted with an upward gaze.

My 600 statue is looking dead straight and BEAUTIFUL! One of my favorite statues. It's nice to have her in other costumes and the last 2 Wonder Woman statues from DC Direct has given us that, the Armor statue and the 600 one. Both are AMAZING! The icons figure looks sad:frown: Like she knows this will be the last time she will ware her classic costume.
All in all, Statues are WONDERFUL the figure looks good but sad.

I have 885/7000. (I'm surprised this has an edition size that large!)

The statue is funny to look at. When it's laid down flat in the box it looks like the eyes are looking up, but when she's displayed they're looking right at you. I think some of the criticism about the bad paint job on this is unfounded since you really can't go by Ebay pictures to judge the facial details.

The figure does look sad, but she's fantastic! I'm certain this won't be the last "Classic" Wonder Woman figure we'll see!

Right Jason, I opened mine right at my LCS beacuse I had seen the ebay pic with the rolly eyes, I was so happy when I seen her in person, She is Beautiful! She looks just as wonderful as when DC Direct showed her for the 1st time. I'm wondering, Is DCD back on track with shiping? This was set for a July 6th release but came out a week earley. Also ,for all of you that are worried about DC Direct going under DON'T! My LCS owner went to a meeting just about DC and the new changes, and she said someone ask about why DC Direct has not been showing anything the past few months. Its all due to the move to Callifornia. ALL will be back on track soon! I was SO happy with that news!

That's good news about DCD. I hope they do a Jim Lee Justice League at some point.

As far as the shipping schedule, I'm not so sure they have their act together on that yet. Midtown Comics is showing on their site that Brightest Day series 2 is shipping next week. No sign of Flashpoint figures.

BUT I should stop complaining! in under a month we have got: the Online W.W. statue,the Cover Girls W.W. statue, That beautiful Japines W.W. statue(i dont remember the title) Wonder Woman 600 statue and HC Book, Mini Ami-comi statue,the DC Organs W.W. 2 pack figures and the W.W. Icons Figure. Did is miss anything? How much money did I spend??? eeeeekkkkkk!!!!!:wink: Diana is worth EVERY penny!:biggrin:
