Batman, Spiderman, Xmen, all these superheroes deserve there own franchises. But then you get movies like Elektra, Daredevil (which was underrated), and Spawn, which probably will not get a second chance. Who do you think will be the next big franchise Hit?

Namor- A film featuring him would get rid of the stigma about underwater characters created by his DC counterpart.Beside's that he's just awesome an it's time for the world to know it.

Storm-A solo film staring Storm might allow her to be able spread out more from the X-Men and possibly become Marvel's flagship female character. (This probably would never happen though.)

Hawkeye- He's just bad ass and Marvel needs to make it known.

Did they really mistake Danny Glover for Donald Glover?

I think a movie featuring Cyclops solo would be brilliant.

I think you could do a pretty descent movie franchise around SHIELD.

Samual L Jackson is descent star power, and it's very easy to tie into all the current Avenger related movie projects.

It also translates fairly easy into a movie and toy franchise... ala GI Joe.

I would love a SHIELD movie, if only they'd lose the leather trench coat that they have Sam Jackson wearing.

I really like Scott, but I don't think a movie about him would work.
If they did an Origins-Movie it wouldn't really work as an action movie. It would be more like a drama, a movie about losses and child abuse. You could only please the action fans and comic book fans by writing a whole new origin for him - and that would blow the character.

I would like to see a sequel of "The Last Stand" though, making Cyclops finally the leader he ought to be.

Iron Fist, Dr. Strange and Namor all have the potential to be big movie franchises. My top pick for Danny Rand would be Garrett Hedlund, but if Marvel wanted to go younger (given Danny's origin) then i'd say Lucas Till would be a good choice.

kind of upset they picked that glee dude for Iron Fist. I guess I can see why they did but I just hate to see one of my favorites as that dude. And Johnny Depp was a very interesting choice for strange, but acceptable.

but I would love to see:
(not in any specific order)
Black Panther
Iron Fist
Dr. Strange
Deadpool
Namor (as long as it isn't a bad aquaman type of thing)

Anyone but Blade...

Really, though, I'd love a space/cosmic themed movie. Nova, Captain Marvel, Guardians of the Galaxy, Quasar...
I don't think Silver Surfer would work, honestly. It just seems -too- alien to accept, and the detailing of Galactus would be a very delicate issue.

Yes they did.

It seemed a bit forced to not at all mention the fact that Donald Glover is black and Matt Murdock is white, like an unrealistic level of figurative colour-blindedness.

Though I could definitely see Donald Glover as a good Spidey, I have no idea why anyone would think to cast him as Matt, especially if you're thinking about him in terms of Troy.

Oh, and regarding the film franchises, I think the street level characters would make for decent films especially if Marvel could secure the rights to Daredevil and Spidey again and stick everyone in the same universe.

I don't think any superhero deserves their own franchise, they have to earn it. Considering what Marvel Studios has set up, I can see SHIELD, Black Widow, and Hawkeye being likely candidates for the next set of movies.

I'd love to see an Iron Fist movie, and I think it would be a less expensive movie for Marvel to do. And Heroes for Hire for a TV show.

Of course, what I really want to see is a properly done Namor movie with the right actor. Perhaps a World War II period film (if Cap does well), with not so much emphasis on the underwater Atlantis scenes (because they are expensive). Or just spend the money to do something unseen and original, an underwater epic, what Universal originally described as Star Wars underwater. Sadly, I don't see Marvel Studios springing for the latter.

That would be ten-times awesome, but I don't think it'd be all that marketable, as it wouldn't really be a "super-Hero" film, it'd be a "Sci-Fi" film, with characters that just happen to come from comic books.

But seeing Nova and especially Star Lord, Rocket, Bug, etc... on the big screen would be insanely great.

Definitely go with Guardians of the Galaxy.

Going to back the Hawkeye vote. Clint has been badass for a long time, glad he had a few seconds to shine in the Thor movie.

Namor: Somone mentioned this. If done right, it could be fricken epic. He's more beastly and relatable than aquaman, has a better story, and maybe they could do it somehow like the movie 300 or Spartacus:Blood and Sand. Has to be wide open spaces with lots of water or even the Arctic?

Hmmm. I hadn't thought of that. I always imagined an epic Namor movie needed someone with the visual sense and experience of either Ridley Scott or James Cameron. But Zack Snyder might be possibility. And the man knows how to work in a budget.

I'll second all the folks who have mentioned Deadpool in their choices.
However, I'd like to add two qualifiers:

1. It isn't made by FOX.
2. It doesn't star Ryan Reynolds.

EDIT: I would also really love to see Chiwetel Ejiofor star in a Black Panther movie.
