God, even his interviews are boring.
Still kind of gutted about this. The cast looks very nice, and Winick did such a great job on the book, it's just a shame to see it go to a writer who is studiously against big concepts and new ideas, who hasn't produced a witty line of dialog in ages.
It's just going to be ho hum, cookie cutter superhero comics. A tragedy.

"Cookie cutter"?
...
What do you use to cut a cookie?
Sorry, I never read that expression before... I'm Argentinian, not American.

A cookie-cutter is a device that cuts uncooked cookie dough into a prefabricated shape like a star or an animal shape or what have you.
The term is used to define something that is by-the-numbers or generic.

They're really more of a dough-cutter, if anything.

article makes it sound like there might be more justice league books on the way. Isn't 2 enough?
I know DC is enjoying milking things for what they are worth, but darn, I wish he'd said more about the raven haired lady beyond she isn't Donna or Diana.

"Cookie cutter" significa que es aburrido, poco original, no es unico, etc.

Thanks for the explanation. I got the literal meaning, but I felt it pointed out at something else.

in a way understandable and i was also hoping for that, because Booster Gold will most likely don't have his own book anymore.
Overall i'm really excited about this book. I'm not expecting something groundbreaking, but something fun like Booster Gold or Generation Lost would be great.

I have to agree. I like Jurgens stuff, but humour's not his strong suit. It won't be bad, but likely won't be laugh out loud funny either.

I am personally looking forward to JL: Light with the Ray and Dr Light II and JL: Cherry with Stargirl and Mary Marvel.
