Welcome to the TV/Film board's Wrestler of the Week poll.

Each week you'll get your chance to pick the wrestlers who you think entertained, competed, or did the best during the previous week.

People can list up to 5 picks (you can list only one if you want). But you must at least rank them from 1 to 5 since I will be giving points depending on how the picks are ranked. You can either choose a single wrestler for a pick or a tag team as a pick. You can also break up tag teams into individual picks.

There is no real criteria for why you pick who you pick. It can be whoever you did best that week, whoever you enjoyed the most that week, or however you decide who makes your favorites at that time. It can be from any company, federation or country. As long as the person did something that week in the industry. Just listing your all time favorite who didn't do anything that week is not in the spirit of the game.

I'm going to limit this pick thread to only listing people's picks. You can list why you picked who you picked. But comments and responses to people's picks should be kept to the main wrestling thread.

This week's poll is for wrestlers who were active during the week of 05/09/11-05/15/11. This poll will be open until 05/16/11 6PM PST/9PM EST.

1.) The Miz - He won a very damn good 3 way match on RAW to be #1 contender.

2.) Sting - Beat RVD at Sacrifice to continue his championship reign. Has been Impact World champion since March.

3.) Chyna - According to sources backstage everyone raved about what a pro Chyna was. How she took care of Karen in ring at Sacrifice and its a bet Impact will use her from here on.

4.) Mason Ryan - Ryan showed what a monster he has been the last 2 weeks. It took both Show and Kane to put him down.

1. Sin Cara, for being the high point on kind of a boring show.
2. Kharma, for almost punching micheal cole in the mouth. I would love to get a bonus point to Cole for speaking truth about the Divas though!.

1)Sin Cara, indisputable. He's been making all the right moves (botches or no) and is getting over like sex in a can.

2)Kharma. She's turning Diva matches from piss-breaks to must-see, to paraphrase another poster. Hopefully they don't screw her up ala Wade Barrett.

3)Christian. Good or ill the past few Smackdowns have been keeping him in people's minds and on their lips. If nothing else I hope his loss of the title just means bigger things on the road. He's long overdue.

1) The Miz for winning the number one contender spot in a great match on Raw.

2) Sin Cara for winning the best match on Smackdown and starting a feud with Chavo, all without saying a single word.

3) Kharma, she killed more Divas dead AND nearly killed Michael Cole.

4) Christian.

5) Daniel Bryan.

1. Takashi Sugiura - Last week, I talked about how he was a few defenses away from breaking Mr. Burning Hammer's record of title defenses with the GHC Heavyweight title. Well, after a three show weekend of defenses, he broke the record, beating Dave Mastiff (he's British), Kotaro Suzuki (NOAH), and Claudio Castagnoli (a King of Wrestling, very European, you know him).

2. Hiroshi Tanahashi - A man awesome from his hair down, he defended his IWGP Heavyweight title against Davey Richards and Charlie Haas in great matches in the US.

3. MVP (yes, that MVP) - Ain't nobody know how balling in Japan (or... in this case, the Philadelphia JAPW/NJPW tour, really) MVP is. Beating Yano Toru for the IWGP Intercontinental Title, becoming the FIRST holder of said title, after a tourney to find the first title holder.

4. Tyson Kidd - Winning a great match against Trent Barretta in Superstars, plus, having Hayes as a manager didn't seem too bad for the Hardy Boyz...

5. Sin Cara - Winning his match with Daniel Bryan... 7 minutes of wonder. (That's what she said...)

1. Gino Hernandez - The way he riled up the Fort Worth crowd was just phenomenal. They literally wanted to kill him......He has a way with words few others can match.

2. Nikita Koloff - He still wouldn't be able to pronounce Magnum TA's name, even if his life depended on it, but I love those beatings he's been giving Magnum lately. Nikita needs to shave off Magnum's stache with that Russian chain.

3. Rick Rude - Love his walk-in music (Sade's "Smooth Operator"), and the addition of giant lips on the buttocks area of his spandex pants just adds a new dimension to The Smooth Operator's game. I don't know if he'll be able to withstand these continuous assaults from Bruiser Brody, though.

4. "Mad Dog" Buzz Sawyer - Loved how he goaded Jim Duggan into a dog collar match, then proceeded to unlatch his own dog collar, tie it to the top rope, and had Duggan get yanked by the chain like a guard dog who forgot how far its chain goes......And that beating he gave to Duggan's back, with the chain, afterward? Unbelievable! I'd say the "Mad Dog" is 1-up on Duggan so far in their rivalry in Mid-South.

5. Austin Idol - He truly suckered Lawler this week. Had Lawler thinking it was an even, 1-on-1 match in the cage, but then it turned out "Wildfire" Tommy Rich was hiding underneath the ring for the entire event......The beating Idol & Rich gave Lawler was well-deserved, and, in my humble opinion, they gave Lawler a fantastic haircut.......And you have to love Idol's post-match interview. Even Lance Russell was beside himself, one of the few occasions he was at a loss for words.

This has been a great week so far. It's great to be a rasslin fan.

3. Daniel Bryan 16 points
