I don't know if you've been following the discussion on CBR as this is your first post (welcome!) but we've had a lot of discussion on this in various different Legacy threads. My take on this isn't that "most readers" have "outrage over their pairing", some readers are outraged, but just because they are vocal about it doesn't mean that the majority of people reading the books are similarly opposed - or even think it is that big a deal.

this is a nice tread, Although I find it hard to still call myself a romy fan. I used to be a fan of them but I stop sort of caring when after xtreme xmen, however they still hold a special place in my heart.


rogue and gambit to many X-Fans are the greatest X-Men couple, as I said in earlier threads Scott/Jean was marvel and writer’s choice and not our choice.

Daken & Anole could be an interesting tumultuous couple.

And knowing Daken, after he's had his way, he'd probably try to cut off all Anole's limbs, and there would be a bitter breakup period. Rockslide would likely beat the crap out of Daken while Victor recuperates (and Ben Grimm already proves how angry Daken can make rocky people). Eventually, Anole recovers enough to confront Daken himself, then moves on into a healthy relationship with another guy who isn't a sociopath, swearing to have some standards and only date decent fellows with less-than-ridiculous haircuts.
