Just a fun idea- If you were in charge of the reboot, who would you cast? Here's my list...
Bruce Wayne/Batman - Aaron Johnson or Matt Bomer or...
Older choices include Thomas Gibson or Jon Hamm (give both make up to make them look about 35)
Alfred Pennyworth - Bill Nighy
Andrea Beaumon (mentioned throughout the movie as "always being there for Bruce" during his transformation into Batman, she is believed to have been killed years ago until the end of the film in which Bruce sees her again, setting up a partial plot for another film) - Maggie Grace, Rebecca Hall, or A.J. Cook
Leslie Thompkins (the childhood nanny of Bruce, a life long friend as Alfred has been, and knows Bruce's secrets and is currently helping him cope with Andrea's death after all these years of depression) - Jayne Atkinson (I'm actually not that fond of her but I couldn't think of anybody else; if you have suggestions, reply!)
Jim Gordon - James McAvoy (thinking of somebody else older but that's all for now)
Renne Montoya - Lola Glaudini
Crispus Allen - Michael Jai White or Denzel Washington
Harvey Bullock - Michael Chiklis or Jeremy Ratchford
Kirk Langstrom/Man-Bat (I think he could be a great big screen villain) - Doug Jones or Tim Roth
Rupert Thorne - James Gandolfini or Jack McGee
Tony Zucco - Tony Sirico, C. Thomas Howell, or Michael Kelly
That's all for now... What do you think?

I'd suggest Bryan Cranston for Jim Gordon. He's doing some voice work for Year One, but I think he could pull it off on screen well enough too.

Definitely all about Cranston as Gordon.
I really like the idea of Armie Hammer as Bruce.
I've kinda always wanted to see Alan Tudyk as Joker... I think he could pull off both the humorous and menacing aspects perfectly.

I want Viggo Mortensen as Bruce ever since "history of violence". Another I think would be good for Bruce is richard armatage from robin hood and north and south.

I'd go for an older Batman, one that's already had Dick under his wing and left, Jason killed by the Joker, and now has a teenager named Tim Drake trying to figure out who he is ... while Bruce is trying to figure out why all the criminals in Arkham are getting worse and escaping ...
Batman/Bruce Wayne -- Jack Coleman
Jim Gordan -- Bryan Cranston
Nightwing/Dick Grayson -- James Lafferty
Tim Drake -- Alexander Ludwig
Alfred Pennyworth -- Michael Caine
Renee Montoya -- Leonor Varela
Dr. Amadeus Arkham -- Alan Rickman
Mad Hatter -- Bill Nighy
Killer Croc -- Kevin Grevioux
Poison Ivy -- Bryce Dallas Howard ???
Scarecrow -- Cillian Murphy
Two-Face -- Viggo Mortensen

Bruce Wayne/Batman - Kevin Conroy, or Micheal Keaton
Dick Grayson/Nightwing -Ryan Reynolds
Barbara Gordon/Oracle - Dina Meyer
Jason Todd/Red Hood - Jensen Ackles
Cassandra Cain/Batgirl - Jun Ji-hyun
Stephanie Brown/Spoiler - Chloë Grace Moretz
Jim Gordon - Either keep Oldman, or Bryan Cranston
I'm trying to think of a younger actor to play Tim Drake/Robin, but I'm drawing a blank.

Not based on any imaginary plots or anything, but just some actors I really like who I think would do well in these roles:
Bruce Wayne/Batman - Jason Isaacs (http://ia.media-imdb.com/images/M/MV5BNTUyMjU5ODA1NV5BMl5BanBnXkFtZTcwMjkwNjkxMg@@._ V1._SY314_CR3,0,214,314_.jpg)
Jim Gordon - Bryan Cranston (http://i.min.us/indLgE.jpg)
Joker - David Bowie (http://halvar.files.wordpress.com/2010/08/david-bowie1.jpg)
Harvey Dent/Two-Face - Viggo Mortensen (http://static.reelmovienews.com/images/gallery/viggo-mortensen-picture.jpg)

I really like the idea of having an older Batman in order to show the rest of the world that there's more to Batman than just 1 Robin and sometimes 1 Batgirl. Viggo Morthensen as Two-Face is a good idea (he has the chin for it!!!), but I'm not sure about Ryan Reynolds as Nightwing (he's doing the Green Lantern thing) and David Bowie as the Joker...
Getting some of the actors that were in the Bale trilogy to reprise their roles in the reboot may not be such a good idea...

Meh, the guy who played Johnny Storm is playing Captain America, and Halle Berry played both Storm and Catwoman (horrible, horrible as it was). I can understand not thinking an actor is right for the part, but I'm not going to worry about casting because someone's already played a hero, or two (Ryan Reynolds was also Hannibal King and Deadpool [well, not heroes, but still, comic characters]).
That said, now that I think about it, the Johnny Storm/Cap America guy might be a better choice for Dick Grayson...tough call.

Oh god yes don't remind me :frown: I was shocked when I found out that the guy who played Johnny Storm was going to play Captain America and Hally Berry as Catwoman was just plain weird! she did make a good Storm though...

Meh, I'm okay with the guy who played Johnny, from what we've seen and heard so far I think he'll do alright as Cap.
But yeah, Halle's Catwoman was bad. I enjoyed it on the same level I enjoyed Batman & Robin, but others don't like bad movies like I sometimes do. It was bad.
Anyways, Dick Grayson and Tim Drake seem a bit hard to cast for.
Also having trouble with Alfred, but then I can't name old British actors. For those who can though, there's probably quite a few who can fit the bill. Had some trouble with Cassandra Cain (we need more Asian actresses), so I went with the chick who played the vampire slayer in the live action Blood the Last Vampire film. For Spoiler I went with Hit Girl, only actress I could think of. Bruce, Jason, and Gordon were easy. Stayed away from choosing villains, no clue there.

David Henrie as Tim Drake and Annasophia Robb as Stephanie Brown if we're going with teenage superheroes (right before Damian showed up)
No idea for Dick though, HAYDEN CHRISTENSEN or something

For a while I've thought Jeffery Donovan would make a good Bruce/Batman.

I've heard of none of these people.
*googles*
Eh, not great picks, but not bad...even if most haven't appeared in anything I'd choose to watch.

Yeah I wasn't sure about who to pick for Dick but I picked David and Annasophia based on their looks. I've seen David in that Selena Gomez show she had and a movie where he's a golfer, I've never seen that Annasophia girl before in my life

Villain ... I can see him playing a TON of different rouges.
