Which X-Counterpart Universe Do You Think Would Be Best For An X-Men Crossover?

Though I initially quit making counterpart threads with one exception, I could not help but change my mind. Why? Because I couldn't help but wonder...out of all the universes containing X-Men counterparts, which one do you think would be the best for the X-Men to have a crossover with? I ask this to any and all who have seen and liked my X-Men counterpart threads, as a purely hypothetical question?

So, like I asked, which crossover would be the coolest for the X-Men?

Or is there another universe containing X-Men counterparts you'd most like for an X-Men crossover? Battlestar Galactica universe!

Why you ask?

Well Star Wars, the technology and the setting just Swallow the X-men.

No Space gods, but when a thermal Detonation can wipe out a chunk of a city block, or a Star Destroyer can glass most of an Eath sized planet all by its Lonesome. Mutants kinda look mundane.

BSG remake has a closer to home tech scheme, a smaller environment (only 12 inhabeted planets in a 4 star cluster) but expansive enough to really shake the teams perceptions.

That or the Serenity/Firefly 'Verse

This I could get behind as long as it was just a "what if?" miniseries that had no effect on mainstream continuity had if we're talking about the reimagined version on the SciFi -- no wait -- the SyFy channel.

Otherwise, I don't even like crossovers when they happen between other Marvel franchises. Just because I like watching Burn Notice and Psyche! and they both happen to be on the USA Network, it doesn't mean I should to have to watch both of these shows back-to-back in order to follow the plot. And the fact that Howard the Duck shares the same universe as Frank Castle is a crime against humanity. Could you imagine going to a movie where Thomas Jane shared the same screen with that little George Lucas abomination?

What makes things worse is that often the writers will have biases towards certain characters or not know enought about them to write about.

Check out Linkara's Review of DC's Elseworlds JLA: Act of God (http://thatguywiththeglasses.com/videolinks/linkara/at4w/20443-jla-act-of-god-part-1) that turned out to be "a love letter to Batman."

Crossovers may be fun to talk about when youre getting high with your fellow geeks, but as we've learned from the Alien V. Predator movies, they are almost never something you want to come to fruition.
