Hi!
Now, I have been thinking about posting up this questions for a long time, but now that I have seen the Comic Book Art Institute's site go down, I decided to finally ask this question. Before I do, I will tell you what the Comic Book Art Institute was about. Of course, it was a school that taught people how to draw and write comics. It had so many classes from Life Drawing to Writing For Comics. It filled me with such joy to hear about this thing. The bad news was however, that it was located at the Frank and Son Collectibles Show according to their website. I even contacted them about this and they said last year they would do summer classes. Now their site is down and I can assume they went out of business. The sad thing about it is that this was an extracirricular activity where people my age could attend. So my question is what other extracirricular schools are there for comic book art and writing? And by extracirricular, I mean something to do as an afterschool thing, not as a college. Please answer soon. Thank you.
