Okay, because I'm tired and lazy, I'm going to keep my avatar from last week and go with...

OLD WEST!

Same rules as always apply.

Dibs on Raylan Givens. I'm almost done with the first season of Justified, and boy howdy does that show have an old west feel to it.

Also, Timothy Oliphant is fun to look at.

Edit: Actually I found a Rex Fury image I could work with so I'll go with it. The Original original Ghost Rider.

D'oh, forgot this was an animated gif I used for a different contest. Well, this will do until I edit the other image out.

I'm in this week with Richard Boone's Have Gun Will Travel (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QclVGUHvRvE).

His infamous calling card.

The best character in the best western ever made.

Eli Wallach as Tuco. il Cattivo

I'm in with *my* favorite Western: the sublimely silly Evil Roy Slade, starring John Astin as the title rogue and Dick Shawn as his nemesis, Sheriff Bing Bell ("Is that the door?"). Nearly 40 years later, I still get a lump in my throat whenever I hear "The Stubby Index Finger Song."

I summon the forgotten classic!

PS: I was originally gonna use The Over The Hill Gang but thought folks might confuse it with the Classic Comics regulars.

Dibs on The Magnificent Seven.

The Old West eh? Technically I could keep my avvy from last week's contest too, but instead I think I'll go with a true classic . . .

It's been a while, but getting back in with Brisco County, Jr..

Spike-X

I'm in with the Swear Engine himself, Deadwood's Al Swearengen.

Haven't done this in quite a while.

I'm in with Charlie Siringo. He was an actual working cowboy who wrote about his life working cattle. A lot of what we know about true cowboy life comes from Siringo. He later went on to be a Pinkerton agent.

Sometimes truth is more fun than fiction.

So bang goes my Deadwood character idea and Hedley Lamarr as well. A picture of an old Adam West, and an old picture of Adam West probably won't cut it. *thinks*.

You should have tried it. I'm not the contest originator this week, but I for one would have have deemed it clever enough to pass muster. BB wasn't any more specific than "Old West" after all and you can never go wrong being more creative than required.

I'm in with that scourge of the old west, Zombie Kaiser Wilhelm.

Frank James - "He ain't no cowboy!"

Kaiser Wilhelm - "Sure I am...er..Yippy, Wippy-Wippy!"
