There's too many x books at the moment but I would love another Exiles book down the road. Esp with some alt version of characters that are dead or those not regularly featured in a x-book. Of course some staple Exiles members too.

Just keep Claremont out of things. I reread a bunch of issues the other day and it was just plain creepy when "Morpheus" was kissing Blink.

Exiles is pure excellence; and the only time you'll be able to say Chuck Austen did a better job than Claremont at writing.

Honestly I don't see why A-list writers wouldn't want to write this series. Mark Millar created the Marvel Zombies world within the pages of Ultimate Fantastic Four, he created an alternate future in Old Man Logan and the regular Fantastic Four. He seems to be a fan of alternate worlds I don't see why he or any other writer wouldn't want to have the freedom of creating own stories, killing anybody they want permanently and with ramifications, and own worlds.

I miss Sunfire so much, there's a beautiful story about her in the one-shot "Days of then and now".

I miss AoA-Sabretooth. I honestly think he was a far superior character than 616-version of Wolverine.

I remember back when the series first started and I picked up an early issue because it had the Hulk in it. Well, even after the Hulk issues I stayed on for a little bit because it was not bad at all. I stopped on the issue where the asian character came out as gay - which was interesting to me at the time - and the baby situation was happening with the other two characters.

I collected here and there thereafter, like, I jumped on again during the bugs in tower thing with the black chick, and later on still with the World Tour storyline.

I even like Blink as a character to this day pretty much.

It really was a very nice book: It was X-oriented, but completely Marvel Universe. Awesome. :cool:

Just thought I'd jump in and share my memories.

I really kinda wish I never jumped off early on though, but it was what it was. :/

I actually kinda liked the Exiles version or at least thought she was interesting. Look at it this way. She's having a nervous breakdown the entire time that only got worse after the Japan mission.
She already was kidnapped as a little girl and had to spent time in Hell/limbo for what probably amounts to several centuries thanks to time dilation. She gets free of it, then gets kidnapped AGAIN with no hope of rescue(which is probably what kept her sane while in limbo the first time), gets told she's going to hurt everyone she cares about if she does manage to escape and gets to run around slaughtering bizzaro versions of people she knew. She was in a literal cage and was clawing to get out constantly in a state of panic.

Then the Japan event happened and the entire thing got even worse to her as now she realizes that the longer she's there the more she's going to have to see/do similar horrors in new and creative ways. It's no surprise she was going nuts. The rest of the Exiles adapted much better due to either having survived much worse(Blink) or not having the entire exiles operation resemble a previous mental trauma.

I'm disappointed by no mention of Blink but I cant expect em to give us a list of every exact character nor do i want Blink to get overexposed like Wolverine feels.

Btw I haven't been following uncanny x-force...has psylocke made any reference to the exiles??? I'm assuming the AoA sabretooth is pre-exiles so it should be an interesting interaction...

They made mention of the fact that Psylocke used to bang Sabertooth so it's definitely post exiles.
There's also the little visit that the Exiles had to the AoA with Holocaust where things described in the preview hadnt happened yet.

OK. I am "necroing" this thread cos the Otherworld arc starting in Uncanny X-Force made me start thinking of the Exiles. The Captain Britain Corps is supposed to safeguard the multiverse under the direction of Roma & Saturnyne, yeah? Shouldn't Roma be overseeing the Exiles? Would she seriously let a bunch of amateurs go on missions to repair the damage to the multiverse? It would be interesting to see vaarious Exiles squads supervised and assigned missions by Roma/Saturnyne/the DDC/Merlyn.

CC's crossover between Exiles & New Excalibur killed Roma and dumped all her knowledge on Sage.

Yeah, like anyone ever stays dead at Marvel. There's also been a rumor that she's going to make a comeback in the Otherworld arc. Anyway, I wouldn't mind seeing the Exiles run by Saturnyne and that lot.

The series mostly involves the various Exiles--including Darkstalkers/Nightstalkers werewolf John Talbain--hunting down renegade Exile Gambit, who has turned into a universe spanning murderer. The final episode is probly the best one.

I know, right? I love the bit with the ice powered Sonya Blade--in her reality, she married Sub-Zero and gained ice powers from having sex with him.:evilsmile: the final vid with Jill Valentine was pretty cool, too. That art was amazing.

Too bad rights issues keep the Exiles from being a truly multiversal team like in those vids. I would love to see Power Girl and Sora from Kingdom Hearts on the team!

Would love to see someone do a mini or even a one-shot explaining how Sabertooth got out of the crystal wall. Would just be nice to see what is going on with the team. Did they form an Initiative type of program with several different groups? Did the Capt Britain Corps shut them down? They don't have to do a whole series but an update would be nice.
