She may be returning to the pages of the soon to be awesome Alpha Flight by Pak and that guy that drew Fantastic Four better than ever, (and... van lente? My mind is sprawling...) BUT, she was once, and probably will be again, a frequently re-occuring character in da' X-men. =)

I am terribly excited to see my favourite MPD character back where she belongs with the rest of the original Alpha Flight but I am quite torn between wanting her original and classic black and white costume and always absolutely loving the tres sexy gold and white with that fabulous pixie haircut.

Not sure if that was actually meant to be permanent tho', Torpor? That was the result of a psychic agitator that Norman Osborn used on her, and her latest appearances ( is it only in Chaos War..?) didn't show any signs of MPD.

Could very well be that the effects wore off once her mind had time to stabilize itself afterwards.

I guess we'll have to see how and if, Pak and Van Lente will handle it!

You're right, it was even worse than Millar's thing (Enemy of the State). I got momentarily blindsided by some bad memories flooding back.

Weapon X was indeed written by Frank Tieri. I think Torpor has somehow confused it with Enemy of the State, where Northstar was killed, resurrected and brain-washed in a similar manor as Wolverine.

Aurora wasn't even in that story... as far as I can remember.

She showed up with some brainwashing of her own and broke out Northstar in Mike Karey's X-men tho'... can't quite remember if it was connected to Second Coming or not.

I have always liked Aurora. In my past I was a huge Alpha Flight fan, and she was always a favorite, well she and Talisman.
I had to vote for the gold and white uniform, it fit her personality and where she was in her life at the time she debuted it. Trying to be her own woman, not defined by her relationship with her brother. Good times.
