A friend of mine passed this weekend due to a negligent driver. Please drive carefully. I just found out this morning, and it hasn't sunk in yet, but I wanted to post this.

And yet the driver always winds up fine for driving negligently. Sorry to hear about this and I hope they can at least charge her on something. I hate people who don't follow simple traffic laws because they feel they are above them. Condolences on such a stupid tragedy.

Thank you! And one that could have been avoided. Driving on the side of the road trying to pass is foolish...down a narrow two lane highway in rural country where horses, golfcarts, and people roam, it's just asking for trouble.

I am very sorry for your loss.

Ever since my oldest friend lost her only son to a drunk driver, I've been kind of down on cars and drivers.

Pip, I'm sorry to hear about what happened. I don't think bad about all drivers though, just stupid ones like this.

Sorry to hear about your loss.
I was hit by a car when i was a kid.
Granted it was mostly my own stupid mistake but still.
I also lost a friend at a very young age who was hit by a bus.

People often seem to forget that a car is a deadly object if it hits someone.
