Marvel really needs to get the hyperbole in line, seriously. A picture of the Avengers just standing there looking at god knows what is a 'stunning variant'?

Putting out press releases hyping things is what Marvel's PR department is supposed to do. CBR, however, certainly doesn't need to start new threads about every random variant the company publishes.

So Bucky won't be in a Russian Gulag and still wearing the Cap outfit, come April/May? Kthanks Marvel!

If we hadn't seen these same people everywhere, you'd think this is for the Heroic Age still.

Stuart Immonem has a nice style with clean lines, but it's never really come across as stunning.

I doubt we will see people rushing to get their hands on that bland cover.

I'm not sure you know what the job of a "marketing department" is, nor should that be something that bothers you.

i never really was a fan of Immonen, but i think he got better over the last decade. Or he got a better inkers, that helps of course too.

Love Immonen but these kind of covers reminds me of the Jemas era when he insisted that all the covers be just an iconic piece of the main characters. I never spend extra $$ on variants but I suppose some people get caught up in that. At least there isn't a dark sky with lightening in the background.
