View Full Version : Which Jean Grey Counterpart Would Be The Best Partner For Jean?
Demon Man

For my next X-Men counterpart partner thread, I decided I'd make an ode as well as a tribute to another great but sadly dead character, Jean Grey! So I ask you, X-Fans, and especially anyone and everyone who likes Jean...
Which otherworldly equivalent of Jean Grey would be best as her battle partner in your opinion?
Holly from the Monster Rancher Anime?
Nala from The Lion King?
Minerva MacGonagall from the Harry Potter series?
Oracle from DC Comics?
Princess Allura from Voltron?
Sally from Sonic The Hedgehog?
April O' Neil from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles?
Or is there another counterpart of good ol' Jean who you think you'd best like to be her partner? Pour in your opinions on the poll and thread alike, as usual, everybody!

Sorry but Minerva is far more similar to Storm than Jean Grey.

I'd say Professor McGonagall is more like Emma Frost. Powerful bitch who takes no crap from anyone. Not exactly the den mother figure of any group. Always snarky, never wrong, and kicks all kind of ass when necessary.

Which option, or combination of options, do I select that will trigger the ejection seat of your computer chair, Demon Man?

Very funny. That is, if this was meant as a joke. If not, please explain.

Indeed, Minerva is so similar to Storm it's scary. She's the right hand of the Professor but she's not afraid to question his judgement, she's stern but compassionate, she has an indomitable will and selflessness and is willing to sacrifice herself to protect her students and friends. Emma Frost is nothing like that.

Agreed. That Frost woman and Minerva have nothing common. Minerva is a cat and Frost is the opposite lol.

I want a Lion King/X-Men crossover, so Jean-Nala it is

I also voted for that one too, I'd love a Marvel Girl/Batgirl book
